1) Has your opinion changed after seeing the long term effects the bomb had on individual lives? If yes/no, why?
The long term effect of the bomb on individual lives is massive, and that is a true factor. More than a 100 thousand people have died from the bomb, and more people have suffered from injuries such as radiation poisoning and burnt skin etc. Water is undrinkable because it is contaminated with radiation from the waste of the bomb. Finding a place to sleep is also really hard, because there was no reinforcement gear such as hazmat suits. Because the Japanese didn't expect people from America to have a bomb so dangerous that it would destroy a whole town. Debris landed everywhere so the entire town has turned into a wasteland, which would make the environment to survive in.
2) Extension: How do you think we could best stop the threat of nuclear war?
To stop the threat of nuclear war, the best way is to dispose all the bombs into the universe without exploding it, because if all is exploded, our universe might be corrupted because the reaction will probably have 10% of a super nova explosion.

If yes/no, why?
The effects on human life will be catastrophic this is because it will stop everything we do on a daily basis. Instead of going to your kitchen to make something nice to eat we would need to eat canned food. Finding filtered clean water will be almost impossible because almost all water sources will be contaminated with radiation from the bomb. Finding a place to sleep, good luck because you will be standing in the middle of nowhere and from where you are there will be building debris everywhere
2) Extension: How do you think we could best stop the threat of nuclear war?

1) Has your opinion changed after seeing the long term effects the bomb had on individual lives? If yes/no, why?
The long term effects the bomb had on the individual lives of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was not something to be taken lightly. So many lives were lost and missing. And those who did survive have to witness the aftermath of the tragedy. No roof over their heads, had to get rid of radiated soil just to be able to grow food, and we can't forget about hundred thousands of people that had suffered severe burns, lost hearing , mysterious scabs all over body due to debris and body failure due to radiation fallout. Imagine all of this happening while trying getting over the grief of losing a loved one.
2) Extension: How do you think we could best stop the threat of nuclear war?
The only way to completely best stop the threat of nuclear war is to eliminate nuclear weapons from the planet.

1) Has your opinion changed after seeing the long term effects the bomb had on individual lives? If yes/no, why?

The impact from American nuclear weapons on the Japanese society was huge, also on individuals, more tham 100 thousand Japanese people died from the bomb. When the bomb exploded, thousands of people were instantly vaporized, blast wave came with radiation and its thermal effect, destroying the city with the citizens. Those who lived were either burnt by the thermal radiation or suffered injuries from the debris. Long term effects would cause the lost of hearing, cancer and hair falling off etc. However, the nuclear bombs were the key weapon that ended the war.

2) Extension: How do you think we could best stop the threat of nuclear war?

Nuclear weapons are the most powerful weapons on this planet, by now, the power of nuclear weapons are able to destroy an entire coutry, turning places into wasteland in just a second, such powerful weapons are not easy to give up. To give up nuclear weapons would bring severe national defence issues to countries, which owned nuclear weapons. Also, countries nowadays are very aware of the destruction nuclear weapons will bring, the way to make nuclear war less likely to happen is through education, raising nuclear awareness and to educate people about the nuclear weapons. Generally, there is no way to stop the nuclear threat because no country would risk their own citizen's lives and security for peace of the world. But there are ways to make it less likely to happen.

1) Has your opinion changed after seeing the long term effects the bomb had on individual lives? If yes/no, why?

My opinion on the long term effects of the bomb has frankly changed. Due to the fact that the bomb was seen in the eyes of insiders to be a weapon like no other. Yet, when it came down to the human and moral ethics of dropping the bomb onto crucial cities, the Americans had no choice but to drop the bomb to prevent further wasting of resources and further harm to the enemy, itself and its allies. They knew that it would be harmful and would do enough to initiate Japanese surrender without further contemplation. However, digging deeper into detail, we can see the mass physical and psychological harm that the bomb has caused, ranging from tumors and radiation poisoning to trauma nightmares and anxiety. As well as suriviors' accounts where they carried haunted and intense flashbacks with them. Coupled with the scars and injuries that will forever remind them of this tragedy. Furthermore, the bomb caused generations of hard work and status to plummet, due to the mounting financial and environmental distress, accompanied by a low nationwide morale and the transition into a newly-installed government.

2) Extension: How do you think we could best stop the threat of nuclear war?

I believe that the best way we can do to stop the threat of nuclear war would be to put in strict regulations on when the usage of a nuclear bomb be deemed appropriate. Instead, the nuclear energy stored in the bombs could be turned into energy reserves for the environment. Additionally, I would say that holistic diplomatic negotiations would also be beneficial in the event that the idea of nuclear war was about to happen.

Looking into their stories and hearing about the horrific things they have experienced made me feel bad for people during those times. There must have been thousands of families killed in that moment, and children left on their own with their family all dead. Since there was no warning or siren or anything to alert them, there were people just having a normal day, and then in a few seconds, the entire city was destroyed and everyone died.
2) Extension: How do you think we could best stop the threat of nuclear war?

Has your opinion on Nuclear War changed after seeing the long term effects on individual lives? If yes/no why?

Yes, my opinion changed for a bit. I now think even if they drop the bomb, don't drop it on cities filled with innocent people.

People should not start the war and use the money for other things and people to make the world better. War is the most stupid thing to do.

The best way to solve the problem:

I think the best way to solve the problem is not starting the war. Well, it all started with WWI and the other countries blaming Germany's fault. This created a hater called "Hitler" and needs to save their own culture and nationality. That creates WW2.

We should not blame Germany for all in WWI and all of us in the war should face the truth that all of them did something wrong.

And even if we already blamed Germany and Hitler was created already. Hitler should not start the WW2 because wars are stupid.

"Who won in war? Nobody won. You placed money and people in it. War is a waste of your people and money. We should avoid it" ~ Charmaine Wong

"When we are too greedy, when we want to take someone else's land and people away, we lost more than we gain even you took their country. Money in the weapons, seeing your people dying to fight in war. Invest the money to create a better world. Let the people do what they want to do. " ~ Charmaine Wong

"You want to kill? You want to destroy? That'll never stops when we continue. You hate the other country. Even you won the war, they might take you over again. History is looping and looping. If yes/no, why?

Yes my opinion changed after seeing the long term effects. Many people lost their lives, but there were some who survived. Even though they survived, they had to suffer 2 types of chronicle illness. One is physical, such as muscle cramps, kidney issues, mysterious scabs etc. The suffering of pain wasn't just at the time of the blast, but it was a life long pain. These people were grateful that they survived, but they endured from their psychological pain. The pain of losing people they loved and cared for. They might blame themselves for being alive but not others, they think it might be better if they died. However, if the Americans didn't drop the bomb, the war might last longer with less casualties.

2) Extension: How do you think we could best stop the threat of nuclear war?

The best way to stop the war is to restrict from using the nuclear weapons and bombs.
