         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Little Rock Nine were a group of nine African-American students who enrolled in September 1957 at the formerly all-white Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. Brown v. Board of Education, a landmark 1954 Supreme Court decision declaring segregation in public schools unconstitutional, was put to the test by their attendance at the school.</div>]]></description>
