Evidence from the Newsela article New Museum celebrates, honors African-American history says, "Some people think that race is not a problem in America. Why? Because we spent so much time avoiding any discussion of it. We refuse to admit that blacks still feel angry over how they were treated." This is showing us that the stereotype is right because people aren't paying attention about this race problem. It's telling us that people are trying to avoid that conversation because they don't care and aren't thinking about it to know how African Americans truly feel after being treated badly.

This is showing that they are helping change this because they are making a museum specifically about African Americans.
