Upon its first official opening in 2009, Mr. Dimaclid’s business was booming. Several residents of Deca Homes in Tungkil lined up for their gallons of water to be refilled, and over time he was able to build connections and “suki” customers all over the barangay. Some residents even opted for Tubigan sa Deca’s water delivery service as they are too busy to line up and wait for their turn to be refilled. The business was at an all time high last December of 2021 when Typhoon Odette hit Cebu. As power went out, so did the city’s main water supply. As people panicked, Tubigan sa Deca stood tall and proud and did what it did best, prioritizing its customers first and foremost by supplying them with clean and safe water not only in Tungkil, Minglanilla, but also reached out in other parts of Cebu. Now, the business is still booming with its water refilling and delivery services.
