There is a lake which is surrounded by 12 little towns which names are of the 12 disciples of Jesus and there are 3 volcanos around it as well. You can hike the volcanos and learn what each town has to offer. (San Pedro Sula or San Pedro la Locura... is well known for a crazy nightlife... (Imagine indigenous people (mayan descendant, smoking weed while talking hebrew with an Israeli...) San Marcos is for all those yoga lovers and who would like to feel the vibe and energy of that town.
