The definition of direct democracy to me is the people who vote for policies. The definition of representative democracy to me is a group of people who are against direct democracy. We have a democracy today because of Athens Greece in 460 BC. Athenian democracy developed around the fifth century BC in Greek cities set up democracies, but none are as Athens.
