         <description><![CDATA[<div><mark>Summary:</mark>The first sugar cane plantation was planted in the 1790's. Later in  Hawaii they convinced the King of Hawaii to only limit the voting to the wealthy landowner who were white. Basically, only the white people could have rights in a state where they didn't belong. <br><mark>Question:</mark> Explain the reasons why the white planters wanted rights for them and only them</div>]]></description>
