1. The source "the great Gatsby" relates to the topic because in the book everything that happens is mostly based on the money they have. For example, in the novel daisy marries Tom and stays with him because of the lifestyle he can provide for her. Also Gatsby wants daisy so he tries to flaunt his money to her so shell she how much better of a life he can give her. This shows how people use money to try and win a girl over whenever they could just win her heart.
2. This made me understand the topic more because it showed how when people are wealthy they'll use others for different things like a girl. this shows that people even rely on money even for little things.
3. The author got this point out using many different examples and images in the book. He used his words and descriptions to tell how some people only want certain things because of the amount of =money they have.

1. This source relates to my topic in two main ways. The first main way is because it gives many examples of how you basically need money to survive. The second way it relates to my topic is because it tells all the things money cant do but how money is still the most important part.
2. Reading this helped me understand the topic more by providing examples. The examples it provided tells about all the different things we cant do with money but yet we still try and find ways to make it into everything. It tells you how much people consider money so important to them.
3. The reader made the idea more clear by giving examples. For example, the speaker said "Money isn't everything.. but , there's so many buts". This gives a view on how people try to make it seem like money isn't taking over when in reality it is taking over there lives.

MONEY Is Everything! Do U Agree?

I think money not everything but that is most important other thing we need for our lives. If you think about that a little , you know that when you havent health in your live what will happen? I think money is necessary for me but not all of my purpose in my live.

englishforums

1. This TedTalk relates to my topic because it explains how everyone is trying to get more money than others. It shows how people in a sense rely on money to be happy and then when they have no money they are angry and upset in a way. Also it tells how when people get money they are selfish and careless.
2. It helped me understand the topic more by giving me visiuals and better examples of how money is taking over. In the tedtalk it gives an example of the game monopoly and how the more money you get the more selfish and rude you can start to get. This creates a more visual view that people rely on money to make them feel good about themselves.
3. Paul Piff used a real like experience of monopoly to show this theory. he used visuals of people to show this more. Also he used the data from the experience to show how he was correct.

Paul Piff: Does money make you mean?

It's amazing what a rigged game of Monopoly can reveal. In this entertaining but sobering talk, social psychologist Paul Piff shares his research into how people behave when they feel wealthy. (Hint: badly.) But while the problem of inequality is a complex and daunting challenge, there's good news too.

ted

1. This sorce relates to my topic because it tells how just money dosent make people happy. It shows how people wont be happy till they have more and more money.
2. Seeing this picture helped me understand the topic more by showing two different examples. one of how even when people just have a little money it doesn't satisfy them and then also how people only have happiness when they have also of things.
3. The artist got the theme across by also showing two different pictures displaying how more money can make people more happy.
