Fire has helped mankind survive for thousands of years, and is one of the most beneficial tools a person can have. Fire provides warmth, cooks food, and also lets off smoke. Being on a deserted island, the ultimate goal is to escape it at some point. Having someone with you pressures your quality of life and would make the island that much more bearable. Water is neccesary for survival and would help keep me alive during my time on the island. Being deserted on an island is a life or death situation.
