Through Much Ado About Nothing, Shakespeare is telling the audience in order to be happy in a relationship, there must be communication, which is demonstrated through Hero and Claudio's wedding chaos. Claudio's inability to communicate with Hero after believing she was unfaithful, resulting in a series of dramatic events that could have been easily avoided. He conveys the need for love, affirmation, and trust to feel comfortable in our relationships, which I completely agree with. It is human nature to desire a sense of belonging and security, and these desires cannot be obtained without these aspects.

Through the relationships in Much Ado About Nothing, Shakespeare tells us a few things about human nature and what people need out of their relationships. Through the combativeness of Beatrice and Benedick's wit, he showcases that a lively and interesting relationship requires two people who are on a similar intellectual level, as well as two people who are able to joke and laugh with each other. In contrast, through the relationship between Hero and Claudio, Shakespeare showcases the need for both parties to be ready and available for a relationship; before he left for war, Claudio found Hero attractive, but he knew he had to focus on his duty as a soldier. When he came back, he was ready to woo her. Also through Claudio and Hero, Shakespeare shows the importance of trust; Claudio was so quick to believe that Hero was cheating on him and embarrassed her in front of everyone on their wedding day, which later caused Claudio to believe Hero had died of shame. He didn't trust her enough, and nearly lost her. I think all of the points that Shakespeare made in the play are valid in a real life relationship; it is important to have both a fun and witty side and a serious and trusting side.

https://leadingwithtrust.com/2014/05/18/5-stages-of-distrust-and-how-it-destroys-your-relationships/

In Much Ado About Nothing, Shakespeare reveals to the audience that in order for both sides to be happy and content in their relationship, the relationship needs mutual feelings of intense love, no knowledge of who each other is as a person, and communication. The relationship that flourishes between Benedick and Beatrice is a result from each one of them believing that the other is madly in love with them. The immediate transformation of this relationship proves that the relationship between Benedick and Beatrice was solely founded on believing they were in love. Shakespeare affirms this notion due to the fact that their relationship solely develops on believing either one is madly in love with the other. In addition to this, Shakespeare proves the vital importance of communication through the relationship between Hero and Claudio and the concept of practically "love at first sight" (even though it is really second). While Claudio doesn't initially fall in love with Hero at first sight, it proves undeniable that neither character new much about the other and chose to rush their marriage. Through this, Shakespeare argues a shallow point about the relationships that many of them are founded on not understanding the other's true self. In addition to this, their relationship also proves how vital communication is. If Claudio were to have communicated with Hero instead of immediately jumping to conclusions, the conflict could have been easily resolved if Claudio were to look a little further into the situation. For these three aspects, it is true that a happy relationship is founded on communication and affirmation of love from the other partner. However, Shakespeare's reassurance of the ability to fall in love without knowing who the person actually is does not represent a correct aspect of a happy relationship.

In Much Ado About Nothing, William Shakespeare develops the relationships of his characters to demonstrate how, in order to truly be happy in a relationship, those involved must accept each other as equals. At the start of the play, Benedick and Beatrice are antagonistic towards each others, and are constantly arguing. However, as the story progresses, those similarities between them set the foundation for feelings of romance, and the two come to love each other as equals. Furthermore, because they are both such strong personalities, neither seems to dominate the partnership; instead, their fiery attitudes compliment each other. By portraying their relationship in this way, Shakespeare shows how the best kind of romance is that that grows from common interest and equality in terms of personality.

In Much Ado About Nothing, Shakespeare shows how important communication is for a healthy and successful relationship. The confusion between Hero and Margaret was absolutely avoidable if Claudio confronted Hero about what he thought he saw. Shakespeare also shows how honesty is key in a relationship. Beatrice and Benedick were both thinking about each other and were thrilled when they heard that they like each other. If they were honest from the start, maybe they would have ended up together sooner. But, either way communication is key in finding happiness.

In Much Ado About Nothing, Shakespeare explains what we wish, as Human Nature, to have in happy relationships to have communication amongst the people in it. What often fixes the problems in this play is communication amongst the people. When Claudio saw Don Pedro wooing Hero, he thought that Don Pedro had forgotten about their agreement, however once Don Pedro explains the situation to Claudio, the problem is resolved and all is fine. Once before with Benedick and Beatrice, they constantly bicker back and forth, but once we go deep into a conversation and stop antagonizes each other and take about their feelings and emotions, the problem of their miscommunication and taunts end. So the number one important part of a relationship is communication.

In Much Ado About Nothing, Shakespeare argues that true love comes in many forms and isn't just bound to being one way. With Claudio and Hero it's pure, youthful, and naive love. But Beatrice and Benedict is a more mature and experienced love that has overcome more hardships. Instead of falling instantly, it is time and struggles that brought them together. To be happy in a relationship you need people who click, even if the couples click in different ways. To be able to overlook someones flaws and/or help them change the flawed things about them is also something that a relationship needs.

Shakespeare expresses two different takes about human nature and love in his play, "In Much Ado About Nothing". In one instance, there are the characters Hero and Claudio, whom are seen to fall in love at first glance. On the other hand there's Benedick and Beatrice, infamous for bickering with each other but ultimately grow to love each other (by means of trickery). In both relationships there is a mutual agreement that the other party feels the same way, emphasizing a view of security alongside communication and trust. The latter is shown through Claudio's inability to confess to Hero about his worries. In these ways, Shakespeare is completely correct in these depictions. Communication, trust, and loyalty are all critical pieces that form the foundation for a committed relationship.

Much Ado About Nothing shows Shakespeare develop an idea about what it takes to be truly happy in a relationship. He focuses on the lack of communication between Claudio and Hero that ends up causing the fights and arguments in the play. I think Shakespeare proves that communication is one of the key ideas to a healthy relationship, as the major problem in the book would've been easily solved with just easy communication between Hero and Claudio. If Claudio had talked to Hero about seeing someone in her window instead of just assuming it was her, there would've been no fight at the wedding and Don John's plan would've been solved much sooner. This communication is key to solving problems in a relationship.

In Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, he shows that humans need equality in relationships. They should treat each other equally, and they shouldn't rely on their partner entirely. Both Beatrice and Benedick are strong and independent. Beatrice is a great female character because of how forward-thinking she is. During Shakespeare's time period, woman had a certain role to play in relationships, but Beatrice breaks those stereotypes. Even Benedick shows that he doesn't need a relationship to be happy. When they get together in the end, it's not because they need each other, but because they want each other. I believe that Shakespeare is correct when making this point in the play.

In Much Ado About Nothing Shakespeare presents the idea that communication is the key to a healthy happy relationship is communication. He does this through showing what can happen with a lack of communication, through Claudio and Hero, and what can happen when you open that line of communication, through Benadick and Beatrice. When Claudio believes Hero has cheated on him, rather than asking her about it, he jumps to his conclusion and almost ruins their entire relationship, the whole situation could have been avoided with simple communication. Where as Beatrice and Benadick clearly have a history, and because of their lack of communication they've never relayed their feelings to each other until now. In both instances, the relationship is very fragile and easily broken, showing the true impact communication has on a relationship, and the strain caused in its absence.

Much Ado About Nothing is used by Shakespeare to convey the necessity of communication in a relationship. Human nature instills the need to use known information to locate a conclusion. The faults of Hero and Claudio's relationship in the play are located in the lack of communication by the duo, and the establishment of Benadick and Beatrice relies on the pair acquiring more information for their conclusion of loving one another. The need to communicate and understand the world and each other is very honest and well denoted concept by Shakespeare in this play. The expression of these needs is deeply evident in the relationships within Much Ado About Nothing.

In Shakespeare's Much Ado about nothing, he shows how love is different for everyone. Claudio and Hero show how there love was at first sight and they seemed inseparable until Claudio was convinced by Don Jon that Hero was having an affair, which caused Claudio to act in an irrational way. Communication would have been key for this situation, but even though Claudio acted in a childish manner, Hero and him still got married in the end and they were both full of happiness. Meanwhile, through the stubbornness and bickering, Beatrice and Benedick were able to push that aside and open up the love they had for each other because opening up to someone is another key aspect that Shakespeare shows in this play. Overall the key to happiness is communication so there is no confusion and being able to open yourself up so you both can express the love that someone may have for another. Shakespeare shows that between the characters and the different relationships in this play.
