This Ted Talk connects to the theme of the story because they are both on a continuous journey. Bilbo is on a journey to retrieve treasure for dwarves and Richard St. John's life is a continuous journey.
"Thorin and Company to Burglar Bilbo greeting!

One conflict in The Hobbit is that Bilbo and his company are trapped in a castle being held prisoner. "Then he ordered the dwarves each to be put in a separate cell and to be given food and drink, but not to be allowed to pass the doors of their little prisons, until one at least of them was willing to tell him all he wanted to know (173)."
I can connect this to Tangled. Rapunzel is stuck in her tower and she is being held as a prisoner of some kind by Gothel.
