         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Do elephants have names for each other?</strong></p><p>In a recent article in National Geographic scientist have used AI to study elephant calls and after careful observation think that some of the animals' calls are specific to individuals, similar to a person's name. <strong>Elephants seem to use personalized calls to address members of their group</strong>, providing a rare example of naming in animals other than humans.</p><p><br/></p><p>What do you think about this finding?</p><p>Which other animal sounds would you like to analyze?</p><p>If you were an elephant what name would you like to be called?</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Scientists discovered the bacterium – called <em>Thiomargarita magnifica</em> – in shallow tropical marine <a rel="noopener" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mangrove">mangroves</a> in <a rel="noopener" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guadeloupe">Guadeloupe</a>, Lesser Antilles, in the Caribbean. Guadeloupe is an <a rel="noopener" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archipelago">archipelago</a> and overseas department and region of France.</p><p>When researchers first found it in 2009, they didn’t realize it was a bacterium. Due to its large size, researchers thought it was possibly a species of <a rel="noopener" href="https://www.biologyonline.com/dictionary/eukaryote">eukaryote</a>. Eukaryotes are single-celled or multicellular organisms whose cell contains a distinct, membrane-bound nucleus.</p>]]></description>
