Here is my personal experience-
so one evening i was studying and got a text msg saying "hello" from a unknown no. i didn't reply and thought that it must be some bussiness contacts. After a few days he sent me hindi love quotes. I said "who r u" he said "sunil kumar" i asked my mom and dad that if they knew anyone named sunil kumar? they said no. i said "sir pls don't send these msgs its a student's mobile" he said " woww" " send me ur pic" i immediately blocked him and deleted his no. then told my mom and dad after that he called me from some other no. with a ........inappropriate profile pic and luckily my dad was there he picked it up and rudely and loudly said "HELLO?" no one spoke he repeated 3 times but no one spoke lastly he said " bastard" and hanged up. and now i don't get these type of msgs i was scared and nervous also but super duper angry too but was slightly laughing when on phone they weren't able to speak to be honest haha XD but still we should all be careful about what we are doing online and be very attentive and should not be careless when online ^_^ rest everything is alright :)

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Once my father received a call from an unknown number. In True caller it showed LIC. He thought that recently we had some issues with premium so may be regarding that ,and he picked it up. A lady on other end said that she will solve our problem and asked our policy number we gave it then she asked for OTP We gave she said we will soon receive an and hung up. Thank god the next day we received a email from LIC saying that some unknown id has logined and at right time we changed our password if we were late we would have lost a lot of money from the account we have been saving for years.
