I give this book a four because its a sport book. This is a book about basketball. This younger kid went to play basketball on the other side of town because there is a better basketball court on the other side of the hill. He was going to it and he always walks past the other court well he was walking to play basketball he seen a guy playing in the court. He wanted to watch him play and shoot hoops. The guy was really good at shooting hoops he could dunk the ball so good that he had to weight tell he got to the rim to dunk it. He was one of the best basketball player he ever seen. He calls the guy ghost because he doesn't know his name. I give this book a five star rating because at the begging of the book it was middle of the winter but they were all wearing tanktops. It finally started snowing and Gregs dad gave him a good idea .The idea was to go build a snow fort and have a snowball fight.  I really liked this book. Usually in the beginning of scary books it starts out by telling about who the people are which is very boring. but in this book it skipped all the introducing and went right to the scary parts.
Sophie and her friend Jay were sitting in the coffee shop playing an ouija board on Jays phone. Then out of nowhere the lights went out and someone started screaming. Sophie felt icy cold hands on her back. That night Jay fell into a pond and drowned. Stunned by his death Sophie moves to her uncles house. This book is about two brothers named Joe and Charlie. Joe got unexpectedly sent to go fight in World War II. He promised to write Charlie mostly everyday until he got home. So he did and sometimes Charlie would write back to Joe too. Only if Joe was still there to keep helping Charlie with some mean neighborhood bullies. With Joe leaving the family for almost 2 years breaks down everyone. Then one day Charlie sends a letter to Joe telling him that their grandmother had past away. Joe just wanted to come home because he felt bad for his mother. First she basically lost her son, now her mother. While Joe is away he has to deal with some guys that he really doesn't care for and Cookie the dog that he doesn't care for also.

This book is about a girl named Katniss who chooses to go to the hunger games instead of another person. The games start and all 24 tributes scatter across the arena. She manages to survive until top 4 and an announcement comes over the arena and it says people from the same district will be on the same team, so she goes and looks for Peeta, a boy from district 12 as well. They find each other and fight until final 3. The 3 left is Katniss, Peeta, and Cato. They find each other but there is a pack of mutant wolves and they figure out that they are the other dead contestants. Cato falls off of the cornucopia and lands where the pack of wolves are. He fights them until he is tired and then he gets close enough for Katniss to Shout an arrow into Cato's head. He dies and the announcer says," Only one winner" so there is only Katniss and Peeta so they decide to both die. I gave this book 3 stars, because it is an interesting book. This book is mainly about Amy, Louann, and Ellen trying to find out who murdered Amy's great-grandparents. Amy gets tired of taking care of her sister Louann, because she keeps acting like she is 2. So she goes to stay with her Aunt Clare. She is living in the house where her grandparents were murdered. Aunt Clare doesn't like talking about it. And things seem a little off. So, she tries going to the library, search the attic, and anything she can do to try to figure out what happened. When she is in the attic, she finds a dollhouse that looks exactly like the house she is in. And there are little dolls of her mom, aunt, and grandparents. Every time she goes up there. The dolls are in the position of when her grandparents were murdered. And Aunt Clare thinks she did it. I rate this book a 4. It was so cool there was a lot of stuff going on that was kind of confusing but I found out what it means. The Elf king came and got the mother stone and now he can control stonekeepers. The elf king put Emily into the void and now she is stuck and can't get out.

I give this book a 3/5 star rating because the book was kind of boring. It was about families who were trying to get away from the dust bowl. Which interesting I guess but in some parts I didn't comprehend a thing. It was cool to learn about I just don't think I would have picked this book up on my own.

This book is about two young girls named Sylvia and Aki. It tells you about there whole life journey of being judged, or not being able to go to or into places because of there race. Sylvia moved so there for she has to go to a different school, so one day her Aunt Solidad  takes her, her two and younger brothers, and her own two kids to register into Westminster school, and when they went up to the lady she said that Sylvia and her younger brothers couldn't go to that school because they were Mexican, but that Aunt Solidad's kids could even though they were also Mexican just they had lighter skin.
