Spirituality is coming out of thick fog into a sunlit forest. It's the first ray of the sun, warm on a cold morning. It is the spring of cold water in the middle of an arid desert. It's the roots of your mental landscape, sturdy and strong, weaning you from such deep slumber. It is that first sip of nourishment after a long fast-a gentle hug.

It is not about seeking inner and outer peace, but finding that peace finds you. Balance and justice fall into place, and all you need do is to trust yourself and create a clear conscience. To have a more vibrant spiritual journey, start with setting your intention and then decipher what one is ready and willing to pursue in order to manifest them-think of it as your personalized map.

Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

I will let go of my cares, like leaves in a stream, and see them drift away with the gentle current. I lay my heart before You now through prayer and thanksgiving, knowing You are always near. But as I seek You, Your peace, like a warm blanket, wraps around me and transcends fear and doubt-like a guard to my heart and mind, bringing order and stillness. Day by day I am growing stronger, my strength in the stillness you avail.
