He managed to convince the doctor and they showed him his dog at the hospital entrance. As soon as he saw her, the dog wagged his tail towards her. Some studies have claimed that visits from pets calm, reassure, and die patients. Les Ann Matura, a nurse, tells of a woman who had lung cancer, she would not get up or speak. One day her dog visits her and he seemed happy, in fact he even started talking. Not all home anal visits have this great result, but they help a lot.
However it is important to have a clear policy and list of rules or guidelines before people are allowed to visit.

A good nurse must be able to combine professional skills with the kindness and availability that must be reserved for the patient. It is also essential to carry out this work with passion and dedication. The senior nurse must know that lack of knowledge can lead to adverse patient outcomes, therefore ignorance is not an excuse but rather one's responsibility. The necessary skills are clinical and theoretical. Must have technical-organizational skills to plan and carry out assistance interventions. Must possess knowledge of first aid techniques. The skills in approaching the patient are also fundamental, making him gain trust, therefore empathy and relational skills. I'm not sure I'll be a good nurse, but I'll use all my strength to be. I will never stop learning and making my knowledge available to contribute to the patient care process. I will also always try to support and motivate the patient in the healing process.

One of my tutors who is particularly close to my heart is called Albina. From the first moment we established a relationship of empathy and mutual trust. She was always ready to explain to me anything regarding the procedures that had to be carried out during the training hours, and she made me put them into practice, trusting me and transmitting serenity during the execution. When I was in difficulty she was always ready to help and support me. She was very serious during professional practice, but when we managed to have a few minutes of break it created a lightness that took you away from the hours of hard work. She made me feel like a colleague, therefore on an equal footing with her and not a student, this gave me strength and made me believe in myself a lot. Even today, even though I no longer train in his department, we have a confidential and friendly relationship.
