Kira grew up with her mom around the house and taking care of her. Kira’s father is always in the office and going to work. If he was home, he was always watching football. When Kira was 11 years old, her mother went on a business trip but never came back. The only person she has now is her dad, she has been trying to get her dad’s attention but always fails. Kira would walk out of the room stomping and slam the door hard. Kira would sit around her room and look out the window seeing many kids her age playing.  Kira would put her shoulders on the dining table and refuse to eat her breakfast, lunch and dinner. She would make kites and put them out the window to imagine her being able to play with other kids. She starts asking herself questions like “Does my dad hate me”, “Why does he leave for work and not say goodbye”?. She went into the bathroom every time she thinks of those questions and thought of her mother. She keeps getting bad grades and looked at the floor when in class like she was sleeping. She starts to wear hoodies and tries to cover her face. Some of her friends notice this and told the principal. The principal was very concerned and called her father and talked about the problem. Her father did not realise the problem and didn’t care. One day when Kira came home from school, she slammed the door so hard that the door fell off. Kira tried to fix it and see that she was bad. She left a note for her father that they needed to talk. Soon enough, her father is bored of his daily life so he starts giving Kira some attention. They started hanging out and talking to each other more. They became really close.
