This photo was made on a Nikon Z8 with a Nikkor Z 70-200mm f2.8 VR S with settings such as ISO 320, f5, and 1/200 shutter speed.

When I made this photo I focused on filling the frame because Lily is such an interesting looking performer and she really gets into the music. When I edited this photo I made the line of her guitar the horizon line rather than the line of the stage in the background to show people something they don't often see and to bring the artist even closer to the audience.

In this picture I tried using dutch angles to make the elevator look more menacing and ominous. I like this picture because it is a very disorienting view of the elevator and something someone might not expect to see as a view of an elevator.

I took this photo in the JROTC hallway. I feel like it kinda captures the feeling of walking around school when you're stressed about something. Personally, I like being at school, but I always think about how many things I have to get done when I get home from school which can make me feel kinda sick. I played with the brightness, exposure, contrast and some other settings to make this photo a little more gloomy.

When I took this photo I got low and turned my camera diagonal. Then I had Riley pose sideways and I turned the exposure down to get the brightness of the sunrise and have Riley almost like a scilloette.

In this photo I focused on creating a different perspective than the usual ground to sky with most Dutch angles. I wanted to use the lockers as a ground floor and the floor as some sort of a back wall, like the room was spinning. I like this photo because it gives me an other-worldly feeling that I don’t really get with most Dutch angle photos.

This is a photo of the sky and the ground through a window in West High. The horizon line is tilted to the side so it isn’t straight. There’s natural light, and I think the colors go well together. I brightened the exposure slightly. I like this photo because I think there is something interesting in each frame (Most of them?). I could have made the photo bigger to include the rest of the things that are cut off, and added more visually interesting things to catch people’s attention.

When I took this photo I wanted to capture Mrs. Tinkerkays teaching because she's a great teacher and I wanted to capture that moment. When I edited this photo I made the colors very warm and orange, with a special focus one the lights hung in the background. I did this combined with lowering the exposure to really bring out the lights backdroppping Mrs. Tinkerkays.

My photo is off the sculpture in the cte wing I took it in the morning when the sun was rising. I tilted my camera and chose which side looked better than took it into the photo settings and edited it to show the light in the back better, then I changed the contrast and brightness to make the metal parts of the structure stand out more and have a gold-ish reflection. I like this picture because the blue sky, mountains, sun coming up, and almost gold look of the metal.

In this photo I tilted my camera to get the Dutch angle and create an interesting effect. I took this outside of one of the school entrances. Additionally, I took this with my phone's ultra wide lens (0.5) so that I could get close to the sign, but still capture the whole thing. Since I'm below the subject, it makes it seem kind of powerful.

When I was taking this photo, I wanted to show how long this hallways feel to me. This hallway is typically always cluttered as well. I was focusing on the lines that connect the wall, floor, and ceiling. I wanted to give it an elongated feel. Also giving it darker mood, by turning the light down. I focused the lights and their reflections in the middle.

The subject of this photo are the flags, obviously, and their poles outside of West. I wanted to utilize the sky as negative space to force the eyes to the flags themselves, this greatly simplifies the scene. I love the cloud cover and the patterns that they made, it adds another layer of complexity and interest to the frame. I enjoy capturing photos with cooler tones and colors so the sky and editing opportunities were a main motivator for me to take this shot. I wanted to keep the flags at somewhat even spacing using the rule of thirds. Also, I also like how the poles represent a sort of pattern and the fact that one flag isn’t fully in the frame maybe makes you think that there are many more of them than there actually are. Since there is an odd number of flags, it satisfies the brain more than if there were an even number of them.

For this photo the subject is about cars, but really it's the white car. The reason why I love this photo is because the more I look at it the more I think it is art class again. Plus I like the reflection on the car.

The subject in my photo is MaryAnne. This photo was taken in the back of the science hall. Dutch angles was the technique I used. I tried to position her right in the center of the image, then tilted my camera until I liked how it looked then, I proceeded to lower the exposure just a little. In this photo, I focused on showing the silhouette of the subject. I turned down the exposure and focused on the sunrise in the background. I tilted the camera to follow the line of the bench and camera. The light also created a reflection on the tile floor that helps capture the wistful feel of the photo.

The subject is my staircase. The story is that the railing either leads you straight ahead or down. You don’t know.
