This will also help to know the theme so that the costumes can match with the script . It is very important to know the roots of what you going to do to get a clear picture of the product. When doing research I can gain many ideas and be creative and produce something similar but better since things have changed. The process of research is to gain more knowledge and to know what was happening then . 

When Ruth talked about art as prayer I felt pure . It is so amazing to be able to creat your own thing . The idea it’s self come from all the things that have happened , but to bring it back in your own style is being creative and open minded. Art is pure and clean just like prayer . Art is creative and brings peace, joy and happiness , it can heal because it tells a story . Creating something is megical , the gift of seeing what other people don’t see . Art is beautiful that you can see beauty even in the dark and dirty places .

The difference between responsibility and respond - ability is to do what must be done and be accountable for it . Respond - ability is the ability to be mindful of your self and the thoughts and feelings that you experience as a result of of internal and external stimuli . It is the source of empowerment and integrity , the power to influence your situation and the integrity to do so in the alignment with what you headed to do in the first place . Responsibility really is the ability to respond or disability to respond to different situations in life . 

Costume design is a way of tell stories because you can learn more from a person through what they are wearing even without talking to them . In clothes you can sense the humanity of the person and where they come from. The costume just tells the whole stories and get an idea of what kind of a person that is through that that are wearing . Colour in a costume important to tell happiness or sadness through the costume . Seeing someone wearing bright colours can also symbolise that they are in a good mood and they are happy . Costume design is so creative and mind blowing in what a person could do and inspire other people . 

Ruth says that through her designs she has connected to her voice , I am hoping to connect to my voice by pushing my self to be more mindful and look at things in a different angle. I’d love to try new things and get to experience all things . Try new skills and be out in the world and learn about different cultures. I want to be creative . I want to make something that is different but describes me . I want to learn how to create things with my hands and gain knowledge and now skills . I want to create beautiful thing that is going to be unique and priceless . I want to be able to show my two personalities through art . The angry and sad side with something that’s going to be telling how im feeling at that moment , the joyful and happy side to show love , family and peace. 

The movie inspired me because I didn’t know you can start small and be awarded for the skill that you weren’t looking for . The British vague February cover is made of black models wearing black gametes. Some of these models you can’t even see clear . They are representing their skin and proud of it . The tone is made them serious , amused and angry . The tone is the authors attitude. It is also an expression of speech or writing to express out their feelings when making it .

They made the models look angry and sad even if they were not , the author was . The tone was used good in the matter to show strong black women , who can do anything they want . They are an inspiration to others black women to feel comfortable in their skin . 

Mood is a reader’s feeling , atmosphere and state of mind . Mood helps the reader appreciate the author’s style . In the mood we get the feeling and story behind what the author has created. The mood of the cover is frightening and mysterious . Emotions that you feel is the mood that the story is telling .

Mood is the general atmosphere created by the authors work . There model make you feel powerful and strong . Write use many devices create mood , including images . The British vogue cover of March has Naomi Campbell who is recently a new mother . The picture is just simple no iterms in the back ground . The tone is used nice in the pictures . It is light and clear to show the vocabulary used by the author. The author is telling something in this picture . The nicknames for the March full moon refer to the coming of spring , fresh start and shedding old habits in the hopes of a better and wiser version of ourselves. The tone of colours that are used in the headlines represent the coming of spring . 

The tone is formal and sad . It is not cheerful to be a new mother . The feeling or mood that the reader gets is frightening and frustrating because she is not even smiling and the tone that the author used . The overall feeling of this is a proud single Mother . The atmosphere of this cover may change from situation to situation depends on the reader’s feelings or state of mind . I prefer the February cover because I love how confident they look and they are proud to be black . What they are doing will change other people views towards being black . They are an inspiration to every black woman . They are just beautiful and wonderful . 

They look like mergisty , but they should have let the models show their natural hair . That cover has so much power , even the garments they are wearing makes them look like princess . There’s so much Beaty in black, and some of these models you can’t even see clear . The author new exactly what it was doing . You have to be proud of where you come from . In there old time black people where proud to be black , now in our times everyone wants to be light skin because of the society. These models are showing then that black is beautiful and they should be proud to be black . 

In the old day black women used to dress like that in this cover is a reminder of who we used to be and we should not forget our roots because we are strong people . Some of the models are sitting down like how they used to back in the day . Woman are the most strong creatures in the world . Our grandmas used to talk pictures like this , how we are bringing back the old days and celebrate them . I love that the are so confident in their skin . I think that light model who is wearing a colour is symbolising being coloured. She is the only one wearing colour in that cover . This cover is beautiful and frightening because they look angry but that’s how they used to take pictures in the old days no one smiled in the picture.

It is made by Naledi Modupi and it is made of Acrylic on paper. It is a portrait of a young black women. It is a face that is made out of organic shapes . The portrait shape is made with black ,golden yellow and white colour. The eyes are almost glassy and the braws are tickled up as if it’s sad . The women is wearing and green cloth . It is a 210x297mm artwork. The artist used colour , shape , texture and line . The painting is made of acrylic paint and a paper . It also looks like it made from the fabric painting, because when I look close to the green cloth it doesn’t look smooth or plain . Maybe the artist didn’t want it to be perfect it want to make it look really . When making this artwork the artist fist chose a subject and composed it before undertaking more complex composing . The did preliminary drawing by lightly drawing the main  features with a soft pencil. Then added colours in the  background to help unify the colours in the painting . Then did the shape of the women from light to dark to see which tone will suit the colour in the background. Then finished buy adding details like the features of the face as organic shapes , lines and strengthens colour such as the green cloth . I think the artwork means that we should be more vigilant try to look at things in other angles, we don’t have to be perfect because art is about to discover new things and used Other features such as organic shapes to make a face . To use golden yellow for the hair something that’s different and unique . It’s passing the message that we shouldn’t be ignorant with what is happening around us , because because not everything is how we see it . The society must learn to adapt to change because time have changed . It is a comment on the society that people shouldn’t do things the way they are are supposed to be done , they should try to explore the wonders of the world by making something unique and beautiful with the little they have at that moment . The artist is telling us you don’t have to have money to make something that’s yours . It in not a memory and nostalgia because it is present not an imagined past . What draws me to this artwork is that is not a common thing and I was overwhelmed when I saw it . It’s my favourite artwork because it’s unique and it’s rare to see an artwork like that and the way the face is made . It is breathtaking to look at it worse focusing on the eyes . It is made by Catharine Ochota and the artwork is made of oil on board . The artwork looks like clouds and they have different colours. The green clouds show where the sun sets at while the shaky remains blue and there is this big black cloud . Covering must of the painting clouds . The down green clouds go up and turn blue and the cloud is showing of from the other clouds it looks like it’s going to rain . The artwork is 500x600mm big . The elements and principles of the design of the artist used colour and shape . The colour is used to show the colour of the sky and the sunset and the white clouds show that shape is what was used to get them . The artwork is made of oil and board . Making this artwork the artist first smoothed the surface of the board by using an extra-fine sanding block to rough up the surface then clean it with a damp sponge to clean the residue to get an smooth surface. Secondly it applied gesso all over the board and kept adding layers until it was thick and sanding it again to make it smooth . Then waited for the gesso to dry before sanding it again . I think the artwork mean even a beautiful day can end up with a dark cloud . Shows that at the end of the day things Change and people change . That you mustn’t look things from one point of view because thing’s change. It does have a message that you shouldn’t focus on the now because you you don’t know what’s going on happen in the next few minutes and the future isn’t guaranteed it can always change and that you shouldn’t be always ready for anything. It is a comment on the society to we should revolve and that people shouldn’t take things lightly. They should be vigilant about the future . It is a memory and nostalgia because it is not in the present time , it’s an imagination of the past . The people in the past were careful about their future the planned everything they looked at things in 2 different point of view . The present time doing things for the mean time to enjoy, smile and be happy not carrying what tomorrow will bring . What repels me from this artwork is the fact that it’s unpredictable. Not meaning that I want things the easy way but  why does bad things after a beautiful things . This artwork is telling us what we don’t want to see because we always focus on the good things not knowing that even the bad days are necessary so that we can learn to be brave and strong .
