This piece of Art work relates to my spirituality because of its environmental aspects. The features in this artwork have very bright colours and such unique shapes. This artwork brings happiness to my day because it reminds me to appreciate the earth and environment that we live in. "From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands."

This scripture passage in particular is important to me and relates to my spirituality because I have a great amount of respect for the earth that I live on and its nature and environment. So I use this passage in the bible to help and remind myself to respect and take care of the earth that I live on everyday by taking part in environmental leadership. I also keep an amount of respect for the owners of the land that was here before us. 



Isaiah 49:10
"They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat down on them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water."

This scripture passage relates to my spirituality because I have strong beliefs that God is compassionate about guiding people to health, safety and survival in times of suffering and need. This teaches to me to be compassionate for the people who are less fortunate and are in times of need.

Babies are usually baptised after they're born so they can blessed earlier into their life. Communion is usually taken monthly at church or at a yearly mass. Baptism is the Christian religious rite of sprinkling water onto a person's forehead or of immersing them in water, symbolizing purification, or regeneration and admission to the Christian church. Communion is the sharing and exchanging of intimate thoughts and feelings, on a mental and spiritual level. It's conducted through of the service of Christian worship at which bread and wine are consecrated and shared. Communion deeply connects with me because it expresses my common faith in Jesus Christ and sends the message of the sacrifice, rememberance and proclamation of his death. This is the powerful message that is behind communion and why I take part in it. These spiritual practices have been extremely popular in the Christian and Catholic Church for several years and is extremely important to large groups of people. These spiritual practices nurture my spitituality and are big parts of my spritual journey because I was baptised right after I was born and I take part in communion yearly at our school mass.

Our Father,

as we forgive those
who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

I can definitely relate to this prayer on a spiritual level because growing up, this was the only prayer that I knew so it really connects with my past. This prayer was said all throughout my years at primary schools and my previous high school years. The meaning behind this prayer and the way it's structured, really connects and builds a strong relationship with my spirituality.

When god created us in his image, included our emotions. God gives me all things to enjoy and healthy emotions bring colour and zest into my life. I have been taught to love and enjoy God, family, friends, the opportunities god gives us and the abilities to serve others. I have really taken my spirituality fairly seriously as I have learnt to appreciate God's blessings through learning about him In previous religion classes, church, music and the bible. My emotions really connect with my spirituality trusting in Jesus Christ along with finding forgiveness. When we face uncertain, painful or tragic circumstances in life, we feel sorrow, confusion, anger and pain. I have always believed that these emotions are given by God in order for him to use these feelings to push us closer to him, so he can guide us into the right direction. My spiritual journey has consisted of many spiritual practices like praying, baptism and communion and all different kinds of prayers that I have been taught ('Our Father' in particular). I strongly relate to prayers in a spiritual and is used in my daily ritual at school and home. I mostly get in touch with my spirituality by simply living happily through positive thoughts, emotions, beliefs and desires. It is important to me to find my spiritual dimension and finding a sense of inner peace by allowing my inner values to guide me to interact with the world around me. I wouldn't say that I take my spirituality that seriously because I try to live my life in a way where I try not have any worries about anything and put an specific labels on my religion. The dictionary definition of Spirituality- the quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical aspects.

My personal definition of Spirituality- my relationship with the Spiritual essence I call God. Spirituality is an internal quality that we are destined to attain in this life called Altruism (unconditional love of others). Every event of our life is designed by this quality to draw us towards it.
