Such attraction is due mainly to the academic staff professional expertise, their international links and GCUL reputation and approach to multidisciplinary areas such as international security, anti-terrorism, management, diplomacy, protocol, media, smart soft power, economics, disruptive technology , business communication  ,  culture and statecraft

Unfortunately, many applications have not been dealt with properly due to the cumbersome admissions process in Glasgow. This unnecessary negative aspect will affect future recruitment.

·      To enhance the research identity of GCU London and promote PhD opportunities, ensure research area on the GCU London web site is kept up to date i.e. staff profiles/research interests/links to pure database, research seminars (last one listed was 2016), list of current PhD students

·      Whilst there is a need to enhance the research identity of GCU London, there is a need to avoid being too insular, hence, kept abreast research interests of colleagues elsewhere in the university to seek opportunities for collaboration
