Once upon a time there was a man named Bernardo who always had a tired expression, as he worked a lot in a company as an administrator. One cold, rainy night, while driving back to his humble home, Bernardo received the news that his uncle Pablo had reported missing. Bernardo was shocked by the news, as with his uncle, Bernardo spent much of his childhood in a country house next to a lake and with two trees that were planted on top of the
graves of his late wife and daughter, respectively his uncle Pablo. The police and firefighters were then called and began to search for Pablo, but after several days nothing was found. With that, Bernardo decided to look for
his uncle using his own efforts. One weekend, Bernardo goes to the residence where his uncle used to live, located far from the nearest town. After arriving on the land, Bernardo walks towards the house, and when he gets close to it, he starts to cry, as his memory brought him happy moments when he lived with his uncle. After he stops crying, Bernardo is determined to find him looking for clues to his uncle, and then starts rummaging through. After having searched almost the entire house, Bernardo
goes to the last place he hasn't searched, the basement.
When he reaches the basement, Bernardo doesn't notice anything strange, however, he ends up finding a fishing pole that his uncle used. With that, to remember the old times he spent with his uncle, Bernardo goes to the lake and starts fishing with a reflective thought. However, as he stared at the lake, he ended up seeing a silhouette that was not his own reflection, but his uncle's. Without thinking twice Bernardo jumps to the side to see if all that was true,
however, when he gets to the bottom he is surprised as instead of meeting his uncle he had just seen, he finds a very bright light. His curiosity spoke louder than his fear, and as he got closer to the light his eyes began to be dazzled by the glow of that mysterious light. Desperate, Bernardo swims as quickly as possible to get out of the lake, and arriving on land he bumps into his uncle. The two end
up hugging each other tightly and Bernardo celebrates his reunion with his uncle a lot, however, what Bernardo didn't know is that like his uncle, he too would never be seen again. What happened to Bernardo and Pablo?

A couple had long lived on a farm, with their three children named Cleiton, Noah and Tiffany, in a town in Australia called Warrnambool. As time went by, his children grew, but one day, when they were already adults, one of his children,
named Noah, suddenly disappeared into the woods and has not been seen since. His parents, desperate in the midst of this situation, where the rescue teams were no longer giving good news, decided to go after their son, even though they had little hope of finding him. Day after day, the couple lost more and more the slightest hope they had in seeing their son again, looking for him in the woods every day until the sun went down and nothing, no news to cheer them and Noah's brothers. Until, on another day of searching, the boy's father, in the middle of the search, saw the ground sink under his feet, thought the worst, that his son would have been murdered and there was his body buried, so he and his wife, they decided to dig and saw that there was not a body but a kind of button, with a note written “By pressing this button, you will return to the day he disappeared.”. The parents, even discredited by what they saw, but already without hope, pressed the button and in a blink of an eye, returned to that same beautiful and sunny day, when they lost their child. It seemed like a lie, but when they saw their son Noah lying on the couch, with a smile on his face, they hugged him as if it were the last time. The scared boy asked the reason for such an unexpected hug; the parents explained the situation to him, who was scared and decided not to go out that day. With this, his parents learned to never give up on their goals and always have hope, even in a situation that seemed hopeless.

The Man Stuck in Time (Luiz Gustavo Corrêa Pereira)

A man once felt he was stuck in time. His routine was always the same: He woke up at 8AM, wore the same clothes, ate the same breakfast, went to work at 9AM sharp, worked eight hours a day, went back to home at 6PM, ate dinner at 8PM, went to sleep at 10PM and repeated the same events the next day, everyday. After years living the same life, he started to feel he wasn’t in control. He felt outside of his body, a mere spectator of someone else’s life. He felt he was stuck on the same day, repeating the same actions over and over again. The only times he could break the chains that left him in the same place were on the weekends. He always went travelling with his family, visited his parents, or went shopping with his wife. He always did something different every weekend and
tried to enjoy every second of it while he could, before going back to the same and boring life he had. Those days were the last thing keeping him sane throughout his entire life until that point. On an unfortunate day, he got fired from his job after the place got bankrupt. For the first time in his life, he felt free. Free from all the routine he previously had. Now he could go travelling more often and enjoy his free time. Time for him has come back on track. But his freedom came with a cost. Now that he didn’t have a job, he couldn’t afford to pay his taxes and provide basic necessities to his family. And so, he went looking for a job.He was scared. Scared that he would once again get stuck in time, that he would once again see his own life as a spectator and lose his freedom. But it was necessary for the well being of his entire family. He went to the interview and waited for days for his results, scared and nervous. If he got the job, he ran the risk of going back to the same old life had, but if he didn’t, he wouldn’t be able to afford enough for his family to survive. Have you ever felt stuck on the same day? Doing the same things over and over again, not trying anything new?

The sun was shining between the mountains of the village of Mitorowt as Rebecca was born, a little girl with almond curls and curious eyes. Rebeca grew up with tranquility and
love with her parents since the war will end, her grandparents used to tell the stories of the first residents of the island where they lived; they said they were the first group of prisoners of the old war to arrive on the island, and as the old war went on, other groups were arriving and what is now the village of Mitorowt was slowly formed. Rebeca was born five years after the end of the war, which was already in decline from the enemy, but even though the war was over, the group formed there decided to stay and continue prospering in those fertile lands. Everyone on the island thought that Mitorowt was a great place to live due to the abundance of food and the tranquility of the place,
however, Rebecca thought that there were other great places off the island that aroused great curiosity in her.
Since she was a little girl she used to discuss with her parents about the world outside the island, asking if there were as many fish outside the island as in the village, or if the people there were as kind as they were there. In a conversation with her parents when she was thirteen, they promised her that when she turned eighteen she could make the decision to go out and discover everything she wanted or to stay in the village where she was guaranteed a good life.
As the years go by, she starts to develop more friendships, to get involved in the community's affairs, and to get comfortable with the quiet life, then her eighteenth birthday
arrives and she no longer knows whether to leave her family to which she is so attached even for a short time, the community to which she is so involved, because of an uncertainty.
Will Rebecca leave the village? If so, how? And regardless of whether she leaves or
not, what will her life be like?

On an island near the Pacific, there is a small forest in which there is a
wooden house, where a family of 3 lives, a child and his parents, all having lunch at
that moment, both seem to be happy, especially the son who is content to eating
while playing with some vegetables from her plate, the mother chuckles delicately as
she watches her husband, soon starting the conversation from earlier.
- How are the animals in the forest? - The woman asks her husband, trying to
hide her worried expression from her son.
- Now that you've asked, the animals have been walking more attentive lately,
hiding in the deeper woods, where it's a little dangerous as I've never been far
from home, there are a lot of caves where they're taking refuge at night, so I'm
going to- - Interrupting the father, woman coughs intentionally.
- For a tired man you wander a lot. - The wife says with a smile on her face.
After the meal, the woman takes the dishes and walks out of the house,
opening the door and noticing a small eagle looking at her from afar through the
branches full of leaves, he disappears into the shadows of the forest when noticed,
she ignores throwing the rest meat to the ground, her husband leaves the house with
his fishing pole on his shoulders with a bucket full of snacks and insects, he moves
his head in the direction of where he is going to fish, signaling his wife that he would
go to the beach.
- I'm going to fish a little, I'll be back with more fish for tomorrow. - The husband
says.

The woman thinks about saying something, but holds back, then returns
home to take care of her very young child.
The husband drops his bucket to the beach, stretching his arms for a brief
fishing trip, he then watches the sun's rays warm him while waiting for his line to
hook anxiously, after a long time traveling in his thoughts, he feels something,
realizing it is the hook of his fishing rod being caught, he quickly pulls his rod with
great force, stumbling among the rocks and falling backwards, surprised by the
extremely light weight of what he has just pulled, he realizes right away that it was
not a fish, he finds a bottle with a lid, inside that container is a roll of paper stuck in a
kind of mini-model of a house, with several letters, he looks at it in his hands, curious
about the contents of that sheet, he watches the mouth of the bottle, listening to
something, the more he concentrates and moves his hand towards the bottle, the
more he hears voices.
- Hey! - Says a voice...
The man is startled, looking back, there was his wife, calling him.
- You've been there for a long time, I came to check it out, come home soon,
you worry me sometimes, you know? - The woman appears to be in a bit of a
rush.
The man returns to his reasoning, realizing that it was night, he looked around,
confused.
- What was? - The woman asks.
- Hm? Nothing. - The man speaks while he is still lost.
- So come soon! You made me leave your child at home alone! - The woman
says, trying to weigh her husband's conscience.
- Ok! I'll be right now... - The husband says as he climbed the small hill to
follow his wife home.
The man opens the door silently, trying to avoid waking up the son who is
sleeping in his room, the woman and her husband walk to the bedroom to sleep, she
sleeps quickly while the man takes that sheet from under his clothes, not sleeping at
all, he then withdraws from his room, down the stairs to stay in the living room, he
puts the sheets on the table, they seem incomplete, sentences illegible due to
carelessness and other sentences made to prayers which are extremely difficult to
read.

The flying animal's eyes watch the house, the sun rising and lighting the
island, the man notices the glow through the window and he realizes that he has
been reading for a long time, so he gets up pushing his chair back, he thinks for a
few seconds but he laughs.
- No way, that has to be a lie... - He speaks.
- Sweetheart? - The sleepy wife says as she leaves her room.
The husband worries, hides the papers in his clothes as he walks towards his wife,
speaking then.
- I'm going to the forest, see you later... - The man says leaving the house with
his rifle.
He enters the forest a little dark, looking for hunting animals, after walking a
lot in the forest for about 1 hour, he finds two deer at the bottom of the forest, he
feels very hot, strange. He watches the deer, but for some reason refuses to shoot
them, returning home empty-handed.
The day goes by, skipping to lunch, where the husband is thoughtful and the
son is still playful, but he starts coughing, accidentally dropping the food. The father
begins to worry even more about the bottle and its message.
- Today I won't go hunting... - The husband speaks.
- Okay, but is there food for tomorrow? - The wife asks worried about her son.
- Of course... - He says without even knowing if there really is food for
tomorrow.
The day passes, the husband stays at home and the wife finds these
husband's actions strange, the wife sleeps badly while her husband slept soundly, at
lunchtime, the son coughs again and spills some food, dark clouds come to the sky ,
but with no sign of rain, the man rages, screaming.
- Stop playing with your food! That costs animals! - He screamed as he held his
son's wrist.
- Don't do this to our son! - The wife says getting up and slamming both hands
on the table, having a more aggressive posture.
The husband then releases his son, taking his rifle and leaving the house, slamming
the door strong

- It's okay.... - The mother speaks as she takes her son in her arms, watching
through the window his father, who is going deeper into the forest with an
eagle on his shoulder, she guides the weak brain whispering in his ear, then
he disappears in the middle of the forest.
The woman tries to calm her son down while she goes to see what was in stock, but
she finds nothing, no meat and not even fruit.
- Why...? - She says upset, a small lightning strikes over the biggest tree in the
forest, the sudden lighting shows a reflection of a bottle for just a second, she
realized.
The wife leaves her son at home, opening the door and seeing that bottle on the
floor, she picks it up and brings it home, reading quickly and skipping almost all the
contents, paying attention only to the most striking words.

" You are the only salvation for what is to come
Stone blocks release poisonous blood into your veins
Metal horses and elephants replace meat ones
Wise Beings spit on the dish that nature gives them
Will you be able to stop it?

It was late afternoon on a common Friday in the city of Boston, I shivered as I put my
bags in the trunk of the car, the temperature of 4 ° was the typical February season. Juliette
was carrying her last suitcases and wearing a nice warm yellow coat.
You might be wondering what we're going to do with the scholarships, well, since
Juliette and I started dating, we moved to Boston so I could finish my studies, and every year,
at the end of the second month of the year, we have birthdays in Toronto, where his parents
live.
We finished putting our bags in the trunk of the black Ecosport and hit the road. At
first we had problems, the I-90w route was blocked for renovation reasons, so we had to take
a detour, but as good users and smartphone dependents, we didn't have mobile internet or
map to find our location, so I just kept going.
It was after 3 am, and after asking some unknown people, we knew which way to go.
I sank into my thoughts as a way to stay awake, and Juliette had already fallen asleep in the
passenger seat, I thought about turning on the radio, but for some reason it didn't tune to any
radio, just a shrill, deafening sound, so I turned it off. and entertained myself to think again.
We were on a straight street surrounded by tall trees.
Suddenly, we heard a loud sound that broke the silence, like a knock, and it woke
Juliette from her deep sleep. We drove about 500 meters and found a red pickup truck, its side
hugged the tree it had hit, and the marks on the asphalt indicated an accident, the car was
close to a trail that gave access to the lighthouse of the coastal city where we were, so we saw
him, got out of the car to see if anyone needed help, but there was no one in the car, it was
empty. Where would your passengers be?
Then there's a scream that echoes from the old lighthouse, the predominantly female
voice made Juliette flee, I followed close behind, but just as I was about to enter the
extremely small lighthouse door, it suddenly closes and locks, so that I couldn't open it. I
called Juli, but there was no answering sound. Nothing.
Until I heard a sound, a child's crying, which seemed to come from outside the
lighthouse, I went down the side and found her, she looked about 2 or 3 years old, but when

her eyes met mine, I saw that her face it was terrifying, her expression terrifying, her childish
teeth were extremely sharp and her eyes completely white, for a moment I was transfixed as
the child screamed and blood ran from her nose and eyes with every drop of liquid that ran
down her skin. the baby grew old and wrinkled.
The scene made me run away until I was suddenly pulled into the lighthouse by
strange hands and nails that hurt my arm, the door locked and a light came on in the room at
the top of the lighthouse, a strange smell engulfed the environment. What was happening?
Where was Juli? Where were we? You reader, do you have any assumptions?

Dear diary, today I'm going camping with Becca, Spook and Luthy, we're going
camping in a forest at the end of Highway 14. I'm looking forward to it. Luthy and I
got pretty close during the winter.
一 Rebecca Lorenze, come help with the bags.
一 Spook, you know, I can't pick up fluffy weight.
一 All right, Spook, I'll help you.
一 I accept your help because it's getting dark, but you can't live covering up the
things your friend doesn't want to do Joanna, you're not her mother.
一 Now that we've packed the tents, the fire is lit and the skewer is delicious, do you
know what's missing?
一 Yes Luthy, horror stories.
一 Exactly, smart girl, how about starting?
一 All right, the story I'm going to tell happened right here in this forest in 1750. 一
Before Highway 14 became the highway, there was a village called Encanto, legend
says that everyone who lived there was like a family, but like not everything It's.
flowers in the summer of that year a new and mysterious resident arrived Eleanor
was one of the most beautiful creatures in the world, little by little she conquered all

the residents, it turns out that a month has passed since Eleanor's arrival and
strange things happened, animals running away, all fields drying up , and on
December 23, Hélio, one of Henrique's sons, leader of the Encanto village, drowned
in the river, everyone believed it was an accident after all, he was small, he couldn't
swim, it was just bad luck, wasn't it? Three days after finding the boy, the women
were in the same river to wash the clothes, Elena, Hélio's mother, found in the
basket of one of them a cloth that Hélio used to sleep with and was always with him,
the woman was accused of having sacrificed the child to make offerings and on
December 26th Eleanor was hanged in the forest for witchcraft, and the legend says
that to this day her spirit is trapped in that forest.
一 What a bizarre story Joanna.
一 Too much, right Becca?
一 Guys, it will rain better if we go to the tents.
一 I will not sleep, after this bizarre story.
一 For Becca it's just a legend, Spook is right, let's scream anything.
一 Joanna is right, what's the worst that can happen?, snakes and insects?
一 Eleanor is coming to pick us up?
一 Enough of Spook and Luthy, you'll scare her, come on buddy, it's okay
一 YYYY MY GOD MY GOD
一 Calm down Becca, what happened?
一 O..Spopoopo...oh my god.
一 Where's Spook? Luthy looks for Spook, I'll help her calm down
一 All right, anything screams Becca, I'll be right back.
一 Better?
一 We have to get the car and leave Joanna.
一 Are you crazy? and leave the boys here?
一 You don't understand, I wanted to pee, Spook went with me to hold the flashlight,
and in the middle of the way something dragged him.
一 How?
一 The Joanna thing only had a shadow, it looked human, but I'm sure it wasn't.
一 Luthy we need to warn you, let's go Rebecca.
一 Joanna, look is this blood?
一 There is a trail, this is the blouse Luthy was wearing my God, Rebecca, can we
continue?

一 Continue, are you crazy? Let's go home and call the police, an exorcist I don't
know, but let's not follow a blood trail in the middle of a bizarre forest, Spook was
triple our strength and that thing was dragging him like a bag of cookies, what do you
do do you think you'll do with us Joanna?
一 I can't make you go, but I'm going to try to save Luthy and, if it were you or Spook,
he would be helping.
一 I won't let you go, Joanna, this is crazy.
一 Madness? I don't think I know?
一 But if it were you in my place, would you risk your life if it was someone you love
or would you come back to call the police leaving the person behind?

It was a beautiful day, with the sun shining and a
blue sky, perfect for people to leave the house, nothing bad could happen on that perfect
day, until it turned into a nightmare. At dawn that day, Jorge started having a strange
dream, where a giant clock appeared from the ground, and started to fall on him, he started
to run, but when he looked back, he had several clocks chained to him and so he couldn't
walk anymore being crushed by the clock, but a very strange thing is that all the clocks
said seven o'clock.
The family woke up from the start to prepare everything to go to the beach. John
was very fond of playing ball, so his mother went to get her, and when she picked him
up, a box full of carts fell on her, she was not hurt, but one of them hit John who had a
small cut on his arm, but it was too small, and they ignored it. With everything ready they
board the car and head to the beach, Jorge looks at his wristwatch and the car watch, on
his wrist it was still seven o'clock, but it was already noon. They stop for lunch, and a car
passes beside them with some young drunks, this ended up distracting Vanessa by making
her cut her hand, the cut was small and was ignored.
After lunch they went to the beach and enjoyed it a lot, stayed late there and when
it was time to go home the traffic was horrible, so they waited until it passed. On the way
home the street was empty, so Jorge started to go a little faster, meanwhile they were
going against the traffic and with the headlights off, the same car with the drunk young
people, with all this it was not possible to avoid the accident. With the cars crashing and
the noise of the ambulance, Jorge looks at the watch on his wrist, which still read seven
o'clock.
So how does this story continue? How do you think John's family will be? What
different title could we put for this story? Write a little and let's see.

Why The Factory? (Luiz Mariano)

Chapter 1: "GOOD NEWS FELLAS"

It was very long ago but seems like yesterday or even tomorrow because it's always
happening everywhere so it's hard to be precise.
Once, this child was born. The family was very happy because it's like an obligation of the
family to be like that, besides most families are happy in this situation. Well, the matter is that
the child is healthy and certainly will be a strong adult with all the necessary skills for a good
worker at least he was born inside the factory like most babies are in our time. I mean you
obviously already know that but there's a lot of fantastic stories about "the outside" where we
used to be born and live. In my opinion this is just nonsense, no one here until this moment
got outside anyway this doesn't matter now...
— Hey little Jimmy! Who is the greatest worker here? Uh? Yeah! It's you baby. – played
Madelaine with the baby.
— Madelaine! Get back to work now! – yelled the voice in the speakers.
Madelaine left the baby James, immediately returning to work. Life here has a routine, we
start working at 5 years old, delivering tools and charging soft things to the teenagers, adults
and olds who work harder.

Chapter 2: "GROWING"

You know what? Jimmy was always so smart! It's impressive because here our unique
attribute is working but this child clearly has something special. Watching how this child
grew up was fantastic and took everyone to be staring and astonished. I can't say with
certainty what it is, but we just feel that it's there.
— James! James! I wanna talk to you! – said Bart, one of the teens James's know in the
factory.
— Bart! You need to be discreet! – scolded James.
— Okay, okay Jimmy. We and the others need to plan your ideas. – pleaded Bart.
— I have all that we need in my mind buddy! Don't worry. – appeased James.
— Just tell me when... – whispered Bart.
— We still need a lot of strength and a lot of hate and we don't have enough. I already told
you that they will know the right time. Just don't do anything suspicious. – warned James.
Oh! Jimmy, Jimmy... James has always had a huge fixation on outside stories. While
working he thought about every detail of his plan, every step, every adversity that could
happen. A brilliant mind that thought and had years of resilience so that everything could
come out perfect.

Chapter 3: "IT'S TIME"

James ran the plan over and over in his mind. Time made him manage to refine his ideals,
now at the height of his 23 years the time had come.
He made the sign and things started. It felt like another day's work like any other, but all the
machines started to break down at the same time. Some people didn't know exactly what was
about to happen even though their instincts had already been understood. It's time. James, his
colleagues and most of the adults started running with all the tools they had prepared over the
years with James's guidance even without knowing what they would be for, however, now
everything was clearer than ever, each action that had previously seemed disjointed now
connected with another, and the puzzle was finally assembled. The old stories that even me
didn't believe were about to come true. The voices on the loudspeakers were screeching,
security tried to stop them but fell into Jimmy's trap.
We got it! – James yelled with all his lungs.
The impassable wall has been broken.
And now dear reader, what do you think James and his rebellion find in "outside"? Was it
good or bad? What would their lives be like from now on?

The Cursed Star (Maria Eduarda Vieira De Lima)

Daisy was never much of a believer that she would do well in life, as fate
seemed to like making everything happen in the worst possible way. But she knew
exactly what she wanted. In the world where she lived, everyone was entitled to one
wish when they turned 18 years old. Many asked to pass in the college, others
wanted to be rich, some more daring asked to end hunger in the world. But it had
been 1546 years since the stars had realized a wish. Some didn't even waste their
time going to Dreamers IV Mountain anymore and most of them believed it was just
a legend. But Daisy always thought differently, she was determined to be the
exception.
Daisy had waited her whole life for this moment, she knew exactly what she
was going to ask, she practiced every day in front of the mirror which was the best
way to ask the stars for it, she had a calendar pasted on the wall where she kept
track of how much time was left. Anxiously, she waited for time to pass as slowly as
she could imagine. When the big day came, no emotion was present in her body.
Expressing as serious as she could manage, she climbed the mountain that would
take her so close to the stars, even if they still looked so far away. There was Zart,
with his pale face, thin body, and bleary eyes, he handed her the tweezers, which
she had spent years reading how it was used. Zart spoke, monotonously, that she
could choose any star, from the brightest to the one with no shine at all. Daisy looked
at the star, picked it up and had the feeling that the star was as light as a firefly. The
star's glow failed as Daisy whispered her wish, “To the star that captivated my eye,
not because it was the brightest or the biggest, but because it was different just like
me, I present my wish to you: I want to be you, to be as bright as the moon, so small
for those who don't know me closely, I want to be fragile as a crystal goblet and
strong as the mountain that holds me” and then the light of the star faltered and Zart
glowed as if fire erupted from his thin body. Meanwhile Daisy was slowly led into the
star with a sudden tear falling down her face. Zart was finally free.
Zart then began to cry as his eyes regained focus and he stared at the Daisy
star with unparalleled brilliance as he asked how he was going to save his girlfriend
who had just rid Zart of his curse from the cursed star.
Zart is free, but what about Daisy? How do you think he will save her? Or
would he prefer to go live his life leaving his girlfriend behind? Will this story end with
a "happily ever after"?
