"Morning Rites" is a Paulinian way of the University's morning routine or Flag Ceremony in which students are encouraged to attend. This routine includes Gospel reading, Paulinian Gleaner's Prayer, National Anthem, Panatang Makabayan, Panunumpa sa Watawat ng Pilipinas, Paulinian Mission and Vision, Quality Policy, and Paulinian Hymn.

The said activity aims to tailor back the culture of the university before the pandemic has started. It will commence every third Monday of the month for the rest of the Academic Year, at the same time and place.

Students from the Basic Education Department, College of Arts Sciences and Education, and College of Business and Information Technology showcased their Math and Science exhibits alongside their mathematician and scientist look-a-like. Among the contests held was the meme-making contest and 1-minute video parody. 

The event fosters the inner mathematician and scientist of the Paulinians through exuding charism in developing innovations and demonstrating creativity through their entries in each contest. Certificates of Recognition has been awarded to the victors in each category.

A series of clubs including religious, academic, and non-academic clubs and organizations displayed their respective tables on the school grounds to have their campaign and recruitment for the application and registration of new members. 

Each club and organization campaigned through having a presentation as part of the program proper. After the program, lines started to form within the tables and the students started to enlist their names for the clubs which they wanted to be part of for the entire school year.

The most active club or organization is said to receive a gift at the end of the academic year for their performance as a form of recognition.

IP Roadshow is a short seminar covering topics about the introduction to intellectual property rights, patents, copyrights, and trademarks which was thoughtfully discussed by the different IP specialists from IP Academy.

Dr. Frederick P. Romero, Officer-in-Charge IP Academy; Assistant Director, Bureau of Copyrights and Related Rights, Dr. Kenny Bayudan, Intellectual Property Rights Specialist III, IP Academy, Ms. Jessah Marsamolo, Intellectual Property Rights Specialist II, IP Academy, and Dr. Romero, discussed the following topics about Introduction to Intellectual Property System and the IPOPHL, General Primer on Copyright, General Primer on Trademarks and General Primer on Patent, respectively.

The event was attended by the Paulinian College students coming from the different departments of College of Business and Information Technology (CBIT) and College of Arts, Sciences and Education (CASE). 

Before the seminar ended, students were given time to ask questions to the speakers.

The said event, held on September 22, 2023, was full of colors, excitement, and passionate students. Different organizations and clubs showed their charms to the students to promote and encourage the students to join their community. With the lines of tables set up at the ballfield, the students started to line up with excitement and curiosity on their faces.

As students found their chosen organizations and clubs, they saw how diverse and unique each club was from each other. Other students had already registered for different organizations, and some were still contemplating whether they should sign up or not.

The Gift of Gifts: Club Listing Event and Registration reminds us that learning can be done outside the four blank walls of our room. It’s about enhancing your skills, building friendships, and molding each student. It sets every student on a path of self-discovery and personal growth.

As the academic year 2023-2024 at St. Paul University Dumaguete opens, the club listing and registration event will mark the students’ journey of exploration, collaboration, and personal development—a proof of the vibrant spirit of the Paulinian community.
