         <description><![CDATA[<div>This is a report based on a project assigned to me, for a client wanting flood lighting installed in an outbuilding. These flood lighting were to be installed 2.4m above a pool area in the building. After reading the IET On-Site Guide IET Wiring Regulations 17th Edition It was discovered that the flood lighting could not be installed as the dimensions of the out-building wasn’t large enough to fit with the requirements of the regulations stating that the lighting must be installed at least 2.5m away from the pool.as the roof is only 2.4m this was not possible.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Requirements 2.1</div><div>Dear Customer the Requirements for installing flood lighting above a body of water is that it is installed at least 2.5m away from the water body. This means 2.5m in any direction away from the pool. It has been told by the client not to change anything with the roofing of the building so this rules out the idea of installing the flood lighting in the roof as the roof is 2.4m away from the pool.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>To conclude it was decided it would be the most viable option to install the flood lighting in the corner of the out building, this was decided as it was at least 2.5m away from the pool, Where the lighting would be installed would still have a close effect to how it would be if it was installed right above the pool.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Whilst this matter was investigated Many pieces of information was gathered which was very useful, some of which discuss the regulations for wiring and lighting above a body of water, this information was very useful. Below are some pictures of the requirements for lighting around a body of water. It was looked into installing the flood lighting on the side of the pool or within the top corner of the out building, this option seemed to be the most viable as it was 2.5m away from the pool that was installed.</div>]]></description>
