Fall, 2017- Fairfield South Elementary (2nd grade class)- I taught 3 consecutive lessons using the books Stellaluna and Turkey's Amazing Race.  We used these books to extend writing and creativity with Choice Boards of characters and setting and if/then/then extended thinking skills.
Spring, 2017- Fairfield Crossroads Middle School (6th grade gifted math class)- I created a math unit  where sixth graders designed a dream house and used area perimeter of irregular shapes to see how much it would cost to build and decorate.
