Spooky tends to sometimes, but his young brother/family are in danger. Which also affects the rest of the teenagers in the friend group.

Friendship growing apart

Cesar joins gangs, Monse goes to a new school, Ruby is dedicated to a succesful life, and Jamal becomes "popular" at his school. Resulting in viewers very saddened to see the friendship fall apart.
