For example, if i'm working on a project fro school and I'm waiting on info or working with a partner who isn't prepared, it can stop the flow.

Students also become engaged when they feel respected and appreciated. Adults often operate the exact same way. In a perfect world, we would be able to do this together - we do have built in time, unfortunately, it isn't always "ours" but when we do get some for planning etc...
