As I'm writing this, I'm not even fully paying attention. I am paying attention to the music playing in my ears. I can't take my earbuds off because then I'll get distracted with the people around me. I need to finish this at school, because I know that I'll be doing Cornell notes for World History at home. Even doing the Cornell notes will take me an hour, because I get distracted too easily.

How does this relate to the theme?

It relates to the theme because procrastination can be considered getting distracted. There are many times where I have been distracted from my work, only to say, "You know what? I'll finish it in class tomorrow".

I had a lot of work, including studying for a test. I told myself, finish the work, study tomorrow when I woke up. The next day, I woke up, and decided I'd study for the test. After I ate my breakfast, I started. Everything was going well until my friend texted. It was that casual, "Hey u up yet???". I said yes, and I told him I'd be right back. Right before turned off my phone, he said, "When u r done, get on Fortnite". So I called back. "Actually, never mind. I didn't have much to do, just study for a test. I'll ace that test at school". I did well, but I could have done better. If it weren't an easy test, I surely would have failed.

How does this relate to the theme?

It relates to the theme because I procrastinated on a test, leading to it impeding my grade. I might've done better, if I studied more.

"5 more minutes" is the line I am notorious for. If my mom walks into my room and tells me to stop playing Brawl Stars, I'll say, "5 more minutes please.". If my brother wants his turn on the PS4, I'll say, "15 more minutes.". If my dad walks in while I am texting my friends, and tells me to get to work, I'll say, "Alright, 5 more minutes.". It goes on and on like that throughout the day until I decide to do my homework. At the time I decide to do it, it's already 5 pm, and I have to go to bed at 8:30. On top of that, due to even more procrastinating, I have projects to do. This scenario has occurred, over and over.

How does this relate to the theme?

It relates to the theme because it led to me having to claw back towards an A, or a B, in many classes, having stress all the way throughout the year.
