Artist Statement

Ever since I was a child, I have always been passionate about the beauty of creating objects
based on your imagination. When we try to create Art, we always ask ourselves “How can we
execute them perfectly? What types of balance should we focus on to create the person's
attention? And what are some critiques that we as artists should consider taking to self-reflect
on our efforts going forward?” These questions help us as Designers to elevate the progress
smoother, and simpler going forward.
For my Artwork, I decided to create more towards Pencil Sketching, Painting, and some Digital
Art through certain Software's. I believe going with Pencil Sketching is a great way to illustrate
art, because in case you want to edit/change certain parts of your drawing, you can erase them,
and adjust certain angles to match a better image. For Paintings, it's a lot more creative,
because not only are you able to mix different types of colors into what you want in your portrait,
but also lets the audiences depict the message a lot clearer, based on its visual results. Finally,
being a Digital Artist lets you explore different tools that are provided towards you, that way you
can make a more detailed work to make some shapes a lot easier to put in your process.
Overall, these specific Art Mediums have helped me improve my skills throughout my years,
and although I'm still practicing, it has gotten better throughout time.
I am hoping that based on the amount of quality and time that goes through with certain Arts, I can achieve something great.

For this Artwork, we were assigned to create as many illustrations as we want using the grayscale chart that was given to us earlier. I wanted to create as many different grayscale art mediums as I can, so I went ahead and used my creativity to do so. Alot of them come in different sizes and shapes.

This was made when we were assigned to create either an Animal Mask, or a Google Doodle theme. I wanted to create an earth style theme because if it's everyday nature, so I used tissue paper, put special glue on the matboard, and then traced color pencil as lining in the Digital final. This is one of the most creative artworks I've done so far.

So I went and used the mirror as a reference, then tried to copy my face from how I remembered and did an exact description of my appearance in my sketchbook.
