When adressing global challenges, it would be nearly impossible to prioritize indigenous knowledge systems. There are over 5.000 distinct cultures all around the world, not including the tens of subcultures that they each divide into. One indigenous group's beliefs and knowledge systems may be the exact opposite of another group, resulting in global chaos if indigenous knowledge is prioritized in adressing global challenges. Its best to prioritize what everyone would, to some degree, agree on: Scientific knowledge. As changeable as science is, it is still objective and provable, making it a fool-proof method for adressing global challenges without oppressing or harming certain groups.

In our world there is hundreds of countries and they are on different positions, there are some countries that less affected and also very affected countries in the global warming. But we must know that there is no country left that not effected by the global changes so the changes inculed everyone in this world. If we prioritize indigenous knowledge we may be looking at the issue in the short term, but if we look at it with scientific knowledge, we will be looking at what will happen in the long term. Long story short the scientific knowledge is the healtier way to prioritize.
