Data can support in a way as a guide of areas that need to implement growth. Programs might also choose staff for intensive coaching because of motivation. Coachees who are motivated to participate in coaching can support the positive messaging that builds the culture of coaching.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Culture around coaching</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In NC we have two coachees who support across 4 counties and CCP sites. We provide support to teachers through in- person, virtual group coaching-PBC &amp; TLC's (for teachers who are seasoned) and video tapping if applicable. We build our culture around doing site visits to check in and provide support to staff and admin to. While visiting we may be a 3rd person, cleaning tables, relief of a bathroom break, or provide materials, while building relationships. Meeting the needs of coachee by following the coaching agreement. Me and Lorie try to find a balance on locations where we coach, but we also coach/support at all centers we travel to. We work with teachers on how they would like to communicate: text, email, call, in person and response to how they would like reflection meetings and prepare for those meetings.</p>]]></description>

We have created bonds with the teachers in all four of our counties. Coaching is not something that is "punitive." We take extra steps to assure our coachees that this really is a safe space and fully confidential. Not only that, but the coaches support each other in a way that is evident to those on the program. They see us a team and joint resources.</p>]]></description>
