The Game controls them and makes them think the clues matter, but they don’t. The real point is to test how much they trust each other and if they can survive. But if they’re never going to leave the Game, then why are they being made to play it?

They start noticing strange plants, animals, and signs that something else might live on the planet. This surprises them and makes them realize that the Game was actually a test to see if they could survive in a new environment. The group starts to understand that they were sent here to build a new life because Earth was too crowded and didn’t have space for everyone. They begin to accept that this new planet is now their real home.

At the end of the book, they come to understand that the “game” they had been playing for so long wasn’t really a game at all. It was actually a training simulation meant to teach them how to survive in the wild. All the challenges, puzzles, and teamwork they had to go through were designed to prepare them for life on this new planet, and now they finally see that everything they learned was important for their survival.

At the end of Invitation to the Game, the group finally discovers that they have been secretly taken to a brand new planet because Earth was too crowded and there were no jobs or chances left for people like them. They realise that the government chose them for this mission so they could start a new life, and even though they are shocked at first, they begin to feel hopeful and excited about the future they can build together. The end!!!
