Although this is just a picture, I think it's important to note how homosexuality is common among school aged kids. Glee is just one example, but shows such as Shameless, and Orange is the New Black have many homosexual undertones that inspire kids to "experiment." I think it's also important to note that even movies with very straight gender relations display a lot of false expectations for women. For instance, there are movies like "Friends with benefits," and shows displaying it's okay for a one night stand. However, we have to teach kids that it's not okay. Although no one is going to know if a boy is in the girls bathroom or visa versa, considering we just go and pee-it's the fact that this could confuse kids on there gender identity that concerns me. For instance, a gay man knows he's still a male, just a male who likes other males, therefore he uses the men's room. However, this concept can change, and if it's successful it might even open the door to unisex locker rooms for all we know. As a teacher I guess I would discipline a male who believes he's a girl the same way I'd discipline a girl.
