Once the Sons Of Liberty (Colonists dressed as indians) had dropped 342 tea chests into the Boston Harbor on December 16th, 1773, King George the third led by Lord North placed a series of laws that would punish the colonists. One act (The Boston Port Act) was a direct response to the Boston Tea Party. Also, King George also placed these laws to contain the colonists to not boycott the British goods. King George placed these "Intolerable Acts" upon the homesteaders on 1774, a year after the Boston Tea Party on December 16th, 1773.

Due to the 5 Acts, it afflicted upon the colonists upon many subjects. First of all, the colonists saw them as a violation of their Constitution Of Rights, National Rights, and Colonial Charters. British America saw Britain as a threat, and also to the Acts. The Acts drove the colonies to create the first Continental Congress on 1774 with the help of John Adams, Samuel Adams, and many more. It also drove them to band together to create the Collective Resistance (To boycott British products.) The 5 Acts were mostly directed to Boston and Massachusetts, which carried off a lot of Boston's main profits, so, the other colonies pitched into aiding Boston.

On March 31st, 1774, the first Coercive Act was created. This Act was directed toward Massachusetts, it was the Boston Port Act. This law was passed to fully close the Boston Port. The law was so tight, that colonists couldn’t even bring hay from Charles town to feed their starved cattle. With this, Massachusetts was now broke because of the port being blocked, and many colonists didn’t have access to day-to-day objects. This Act would cost the colony (And all the other colonies) heaps of currency. Until Boston had repaid all the tea, ($1 million in today's money) their harbor was condemned. Due to this, all the colonies tipped into helping Boston.

This triggered Britain, King George the third, and Lord North. On 1774, in multiple months, Britain passed laws (Coercive Acts) to obtain the colonies. These acts were mostly toward hurting Boston, and Massachusetts (Possibly due to the many rebels and incidentsThese Acts were the harshest of Parliament's laws. Many of these laws disrespected the 13 colonies in many ways.

It allowed Britain to further take control over the 13 colonies, by these reasons. This Act was the Massachusetts Government Act. This Act put an end to the Constitution Of Massachusetts, so only one town meeting was allowed every year. Town governors were chosen by the royal government. Thirdly, this Act had revoked the colony's 1691 charter.

This Act made sure that every trial in the 13 colonies would be held with the British judge. Britain likely contrived this to create an non equal trial (Non fare for the colonies). This Act was also for regulating revolutionary activities.

This Act allowed any soldier of the British army to live in any colonists' housing, and the colonists would have to feed and serve the British army men. This was to punish the colonists heavily, and bring them shame. The colonists were very bitter because they were forced to house the "Lobster Backs".

First of all, when this law was declared, the Quebec's land was to become more immense, and that was a disgrace to the colonies. Secondly, this imposed law states that Quebec people were allowed to practice Catholic Religion freely. Because the colonies were not allowed to do this, they were outrageous upon these new laws. Thirdly, one part of the Act was basically saying that the Quebecs were allowed to have more rights than the colonists. Lastly, it declared that Catholic Churches were to pronounce finds

Once Britain had pronounced these “Intolerable Acts”, they possibly thought they were set. Although articles never say, but I predict that right now Britain May feel over confident. Think, they’ve set many regulation laws, and now British America (Or so they thought) was fully under the containment of Britain. King George would possibly start to get passive with all his paratroopers at hand. With the control of many of the colony’s rights, Britain felt wholesome. On the other hand, the Britain spies and soldiers were anxious. Dawn to dark, many Britons were burned or hanged, and the risk of telling Lord North that they were undone. Once word spreads, Britons may think that the colonists were cracked, or killers. They may believe that what they’re doing is far-fetched, and absurd. King George and other dignified leaders may have thought of how disrespectful, and non-obedient they are being.

Once Britain published the 5 Acts, some were afraid of the upcoming war. Others, in particular John Adams, were fearing the escalating of riots, and the escorted patrolmen. Once news spread that Britain attacked Boston, many declared war against Britain. Because of this, some people were fearing that war was inevitable. At this time, the colonists thought that laws that were passed by Parliament without the colonies opinion was mad. Edmund Morgan points out that "How far they had traveled in the nine years since the Stamp Act Congress [when they] had agreed that Parliament had no right to tax Americans, but only the rashest proposed to set limits on its legislative authority. Now the question was whether Parliament had any authority in the colonies at all. Many Americans had arrived long since at the conclusion that it did not." With this, British America finally stated that this was criminal acts.

These 5 Acts had sparked for what known today as the Revolutionary War. But really, who was the sinner? British America sparked the war, and so did Britain. So who's to blame? Although many of these Acts were sell fish, and downright cruel, but imagine the effect it had on other people. To sum it up, Britain punished British America for their destructive incidents. So Britain placed a series of laws to contain them, although it did not work, and the colonies fought back.
