In summer 2020, as a KU student, Tom Barrett completed a sales internship with Ohio-based Park Place Technologies. He was successful in generating prospects that enabled account managers to achieve sales expansion. Mr. Barrett’s previous experience includes serving as business development intern with 7SIGNAL, where he undertook prospect data analysis and informed an effective marketing campaign. The result was a 70 percent increase in website traffic within a two week period. Mr. Barrett also handled horizontal financial analysis and long-term revenue ad expense forecasting. His efforts in tandem with executive leadership and shareholders supported a Series C funding round. In addition to his academics, Mr. Barrett has competed in the Big 12 Conference as part of the KU Football team.
