3. Write effective sentences by creating movement and rhythm.  Use sentences that vary in length and the way that they begin.
4. Use language that matches your purpose and audience.  The purpose of most writing is to share information.  Most of the time your audience will be your classmates and teachers. Use language that sounds important and interesting.
