CODECA is a non-profit organisation established and operating in Cyprus since 2016, with the aim to reduce social inequalities, develop conditions for equal opportunities, and assist the integration of vulnerable and socially excluded groups into society. This has been achieved by offering specialised services and collaborations with various International and Local organisations as well as public and private institutions. CODECA’s founding members have extensive expertise in the field of social policy and welfare at local, regional, and European level, both as practitioners and as academics. Specifically, the personnel of the organisation are actively involved in the area of academia and have direct access to local Universities and Academic Research Centers.

One of CODECA’s main areas of interest and expertise is the management and psychosocial services provided to migrants and asylum seekers upon their arrival at the two First Reception and Accommodation Centers in Cyprus (Pournara, Kokkinotrimithia & Kofinou, Larnaca). It is also worth noting that CODECA is the only Organisation in Cyprus with the knowledge and expertise to run and administer these First Reception and Accommodation Centers.

In addition to the above mentioned CODECA has the means to provide high-quality services tailored to the needs of society to ensure maximum effectiveness and promote respect for all human rights and values, religious freedom and gender equality. Therefore, we are highly interested in participating and collaborating with a consortium as partners in the upcoming CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme) Proposals.  

Due to our multi-facet expertise in the fields of social care and welfare, we are able to contribute to the project demands as well as the development of the project proposal.

As partners and in accordance with the proposal’s needs we can offer our expertise in the following areas:

·         Contribute to the writing process of the proposal
 ·         Design and implement educational activities and training
 ·         Develop various toolkits to meet the objectives of a specific topic
 ·         Supervision services to social welfare practitioners, and other private or public actors
 ·         Create and implement a well-rounded dissemination strategy

 

In light of the above, we would like arrange a meeting to further discuss the prospect of a collaboration, to get to know your Organisations better and exchange ideas on the upcoming CERV Program topics.
