  • A portrait picture of my friend Rory is one i feel the viewer will be attracted and curious about. The expression on his face makes you wonder why he is doing such a face. Also I believe the photo gives the viewer a more in depth view at the personality he may have based on the expression he has. He is typically funny and having a good time in any situation and I see the photo expressing that well.

It is a split where the grass meets rock and I had to get low to the ground in order to get all the details and perfect symmetry that was needed.

It is a good balance with 2 trees next to the building with the building itself in between the two. Also the symmetric properties of the photo makes it an eye catcher with the 3 windows going together and the trees.

I angled it from the bottom right corner up to enlarge the text on the sign itself. While doing this i had a good layer of white on the sign and a nice background with a smooth mix of blacks and whites.

There was originally a dark black presence, so dodging really added to a more visually appealing photo.

By some of the facial expressions its funny to see how they all reacted.
