What is your background? Where ere you born? Where do you live? What languages do you speak? Do you have any official language certificate?

I was born in Vic, Spain. But I grew up in a small town named Tona were I made very good friends and were I studied all my years in school. Now I am studying primary education in Barcelona and I'm living in Barcelona with my friends as roommates.

My mother language is Catalan, because is the language I use everyday with my family, friends, university, work... But I also speak Spanish and English. Related to any official language certificate, I am studying for First Certificate Exam and I already have the PET.

I love learning new languages but I thinks it's quite difficult because you have to put a lot of effort and spend lot of time studying. I wish I could learn Italian or Portuguese in a future.

What kind of teacher do you want to be? Consider the qualities and attributes you would like to have, and the experience you want your students to have. How do you think this course will help you to become the teacher you want to be?

I would like to be a teacher who inspires, supports, and motivates each student to develop their full potential. I believe that teaching should go far above the transmission of knowledge; it should be a transformative experience that sparks curiosity and a desire to learn.

In my opinion, the most important qualities that a good teacher have to have are empathy and approachability. Have to be motivating and inspiring and patient and flexible.

This course will give me the tools I need to improve my teaching skills, from pedagogical strategies to classroom management techniques. I’ll learn how to design more inclusive, student-centered lessons, which will help me connect better with them and create an environment where everyone feels like an active part of the process. Plus, I think it will help me reflect on my current practices and learn new methods that will make my classes more engaging and effective

What are your hobbies, interests and passions?

I love spending time with my friends and family and doing a lot of activities with them. I also love traveling and I wish I could go everywhere. Some of the cities I loved visiting were New York, Athenes and Norway, but I loved all the places I have been.

I also like listening to music and going to take a coffee with my friends. I also like readying but I don't spend many time doing it.

What are your objectives for this course?

My goals for this course are to improve my teaching strategies and classroom management skills. I want to learn how to create engaging and inclusive lessons that connect with students personally. I also hope to gain practical tools I can use during my teaching practice to build my confidence as I approach my career. Overall, I want this course to help me become a teacher who inspires and supports my students in their learning.

What are you looking forward to this course? What are you worried about?

I’m looking forward to gaining new practical skills that will help me become a better teacher. I’m excited about the opportunity to learn different teaching methods and strategies that I can apply in my future classroom. I also hope to connect with my classmates and share ideas, which can be really motivating.

I’m a little worried about managing the workload and understanding everything. I want to get the most out of this course, but I sometimes stress about balancing it with my other responsibilities. I hope to find support and manage my time well so I can do my best.
