Step 1:  Mapping out our ancestry (padlet map): https://padlet.com/chriskim6/land
Allows students to place themselves on the lands of their ancestors. Can link path to the place we now call home, etc.

Step 2: google slides on nations, land acknowledgements, treaties, Dish with One Spoon, with discussion and reflection questions. Land acknowledgements are mere words if there is no heart or true understanding - how is the land relative to you personally?

Step 3: Journal writing - love letter to the land/your own acknowledgement of the land. Start with gratitude.
