This video is a guide of how to have effective parent teacher conferences to make them successful for all parties involved. It was nice to see that conference before and after with the specialist to brainstorm ideas. Although a specialist might not be available to everyone, other educators are that might be able to assist as long as it is in a respectful and appropriate manner to the student.

I really enjoyed this article because it started out with a scenario that told the parent's side of getting a phone call or email from a teacher about their child. Seeing the situation from that perspective made me reflect on how I could start a parent email in a way that doesn't sound like an attack on their child. This article in particular is one that I feel like I would reflect on when doing just that.
