My kinda key moment of this week happened when I was watching the video about intention and also when we were discussing this topic during the Zoom session. I've heard it already 10000 times..but I don't know this time it made "click". I understood more why some sound baths or offerings are touching me a lot and why some not really. also I love to let a daily intention rising up within the meditation. such a beautiful way to connect with the intention - which is not created by the mind.

It has been such a pleasure to immerse into this universe of sound that is opening up even wider with every further step I take along the program. During this week, it has been the most precious to me to reconnect with how important music and sound used to be throughout my childhood and adolescence and how I then somehow abandoned them – and now reconnect. Furthermore it left me in awe to retrace the emotions inscribed to particular pieces of music and to certain sounds, which in some cases allowed me to time-travel to memories and sensations I had not visited in a while. I am very much looking forward to dive deeper into the world of sound and am excited to see what else will elicit from it!

My key insight from first week was also around intention - specifically letting the intention come to me. When we did this exercise during our zoom call, I wrote down what I already had in mind and was sure what the underlying value was (I was thinking of authenticity, sharing & expressing myself). But then what came to me was "(re)connection" - to aliveness, inspiration, love.. experiencing life and what is beyond fully. That took me a bit by surprise, but I'm really happy and looking forward to all that is to come throughout our work and this training together. :)

Time

My memorable moment of week 1 was that if you set an intention it is much easier to allocate time to the specific aspect - be it the morning practice or dedicated study time. Thanks for guiding us in structuring this online learning experience so well - this was a good start and I am excited for the next weeks

My key moment was during a ceremony last weekend. All life is sound. Through sound I connect to birds, frogs, trees etc. Through sound I would like to evoke the memory of earth as an interconnected, unified and living system that we are a part of. This is Gaia. Through sound I would like to awaken ecological/Gaia consciousness, to wake up our consciousness to the spirit of the world.

For me thinking about a value that came from the intention deepened the intention for me. It required me to go deeper and really understand from the intention what is that is tangible for my audience to receive. It gave the intention much more meaning and a kind of expansion so thank you 🙏

I am so happy that you encourage us so much to just try things out, be creative and just dare to try something new. What came up for me during the first week was that I always got very bad marks in music class in school and since then I always thought I cannot sing or do anything with music. But I try to let that go now and just be myself and try it out without the pressure of being graded and it’s so much - I almost feel like a child again :) thank you for that!

What came up for me during week two was how much the vibrations calm me down and how much I can sink into the music once I am relaxed enough. Loving it so far!!

Unity, was the word I had during last week's zoom session all the time in my mind. That's what I look for when I enter into sound meditation practice and (I just realized) also my intention with this training: to connect, to be one, to be a whole.

"We are one" is what I felt as we chanted these words together and what brought me hope and what inspired me during this second week. Thank you.

It is so beautiful to work with sound every day whether it is playing around with the singing bowls, chanting, experimenting with the own voice…

I just wanted to share that last thursday I loved the singing.

Singing together with all of you although we were at so many different places felt so connected. I had the feeling there was so much power, that I belong to something bigger.

We are one!!!

It made me feel very happy! Thank you! 🙏

Singing bowls

This weekend I went quite unexpected to an amazing gathering full of connection, sound and workshops. Last weeks tasks and the zoom call have opened my ear for the beautiful sound of singing bowls. So I realized that I was able to focus more on the observation of the effect of singing bowls during ceremonies. Also I reminded myself about your advise to keep the mouth slightly open when receiving sound healing.

My heartfelt thanks and appreciation for allowing us into this precious context and tapestry from which Kike stems, speaks, and shares the ancestral wisdom. I am deeply moved and profoundly changed by the spirits of sound Kike calls into place and look forward to their resonating within and around me. Deepest gratitude to all of you for sharing this journey!

Activating the voice

The last weeks helped me a lot to activate my voice - through singing, vibrating and experimenting - and enjoying this process. Beyond the training the voice practice helps me to find my voice in a currently rather challenging time at work, where I have to speak up for myself and assert my point of view. Usually my voice gets quite "weak" and fragile in these moment, but I feel like something of strength is being activated and this feels wonderful. Thank you all for sharing this experience

Cultural appreciation and memory connection

Thank you Alisa for such clear explanation of respected ways of sharing and learning medicine songs, keeping tobacco offerings tradition.

I enjoyed a lot this first video on week 4

In the same way I am connecting with the bowls as my new guests at home, trying to meditate and connect with the memories they open in me, through me, through them. I enjoy to share with these vibration spirits a tea, in a traditional oriental meditation way. White tea, Silver Needles today.

All together, connecting sound, breathing, smells, touch, all senses re opening, reconnecting with these practices after several years of journey. Thank you for the inspiration Alisa and Temple 💜

Sound

Reflecting how deeply sound an touch us on a cellular level. It’s capacity to unravel the story within, to connect us vibrationally with our heart and soul. The universal language of sound can whisper a story into our entire being, establishing a tapestry of intelligence for us all to connect to.

Intuitive singing

I'm still continuing with my singing practise and it feels very liberating and nourishing. I wanted to express deep gratitude for week 3's content on opening the voice, especially the intuitive singing practise was something completely new to me, yet I feel very in tune and present and just letting my voice express itself. I used to sing in a choir before but everything we learned so far touches my heart, my soul on a deeper level, thanks a lot Alisa & Temple for this experience, and everyone else for sharing and learning together! :)

Synchronicity

Blessed and grateful for joining this marvelous family and those two angels guiding it.

It's been over a year that I have really set the intention of activating my voice and found out on August in a family constellation why it was so hard for me, as like many other of us, this means giving back the voice to all those ancestors that due to abuse couldn't be listened to.

One of the great things that this made me realize is how beautiful it is to see how everyday more and more people are unblocking themselves and their previous generations as a consequence, making them and the following generations free from this opression.

Being part of this group and seeing how we are all flowing and enjoying this process is everyday more beatiful.

On May I was given the name of Iyari, (sacred Heart in wixárika), during a Peyote ceremony consagrating our cacao sacerdotism in Acapulco, and as I was watching Kike's video of Icaro's realized he was singing Yari,riririririririririyari...and bursted into tears of joy as felt how the divinity of following our hearts and flowing through the energies that our intuition guides as to, takes us to this magical spaces.

It's very curious but has given me a sort of peace that impulses me to practice, and practice, and practice, as well as wanting to join him and learn more about it:).

Holding Space

What has happened this week is simply magical. finally I did what I have felt since a long time, what was growing inside me - and during my daily meditation (which I am taking as one of the big gifts of this training) I clearly got the call of the Spirits to hold my very first Sacred Cacao Ceremony in Morocco. I even received my very first song while preparing the ceremony and it was magical to chant it with others. Universe made me hold space for 6 wonderful women on a very deep journey with rituals, chanting, letting go, inviting the new - through voice activation and INTENTION. thank you for being a huge reason that I did finally what I felt like since a long time. thanks to voice activation and mirror practice I could give up some beliefs about myself which blocked me from fullfilling what my essence is about. I am super happy and grateful for being able to receive and to be in service for others to create a safe space. Thanks also to Kike for his huge inspiration.

There has been more time and space to dive deeper into this work and these teachings. I am deeply moved and poetically inspired by the shifts and insights i am receiving through the frequencies of sound. Am waking up feeling ‘in place’ after each sound meditation i play with.
