Added Chinese to the immigration line and populated California. From around 400 people in 1845 to the impact in 1850 which became 35,000 people Americans, Mexicans, Africans, and Chinese, made the biggest part in California. later just about when the gold rushed ended California joined apart of the union. so in other words to describe this article we my not have had this land or if this historic event didn't happen and we obtained California some other way. The fact is it would not be as big or famous as it is to day. They did this for fame and riches.
