"While I really would like to see what Bryan could do with the rest of the Hannibal story, I have to say that I am extremely happy with how season 3 ended. It was so open-ended to the point where a fannibal could throw out any theory about what happens next and they have a good 75 to 80% chance of being right. It was just amazing to see this show end with every fan in mind (and yes, I am specifically looking at you “Will/Hannibal” vs “Clarice/Hannibal” shippers) because now the possibilities really are endless.

You didn’t like Hannigram? Fine, you can now speculate that Will died during the fall and Hannibal goes back to jail and the ball starts rolling for the Silence of the Lambs arc of the story.

You love Hannigram? Fantastic, you can now imagine literally anything for the Murder Husbands.

And the season 3 ending didn’t just benefit one of the most popular ships in the show, it benefited the story as a whole. For now, anything we want to happen can happen.

JUST IMAGINE: Jack managed to catch both Will and Hannibal after killing the Great Red Dragon, and then years later (mostly because Bryan doesn’t have the rights to the Clarice Starling character, yet) Jack has to turn to his mortal enemies once again to catch Buffalo Bill. I think we can all agree on how much fun Hannibal would get out of Will sending Jack aimlessly wondering around while they let Buffalo Bill do his work, just to watch him work.

I didn’t really think about how to end this post, mostly because this started as a debate between a friend and myself; but if you guys have any opinions on the season 3 ending, please share!"
