On the red outcome I had drawn Vivienne Westwoods logo along with a cut out of my Lino of the Crown Jewels. 
I drew a simplified version of the Crown Jewels into a Vivienne style but instead of using any jewels as decoration I put 6 on all three spikes. 
I did this to make a subtle hint that the current crown is owned by the devil which is why in my text I wrote “the frown” and “the clown”.

I scrunched up an A3 print of King Charles and then used yellow paint to brush along the peaks of the folds. When I attempted this last year I found it quite successful however, this time I used a photo for a background instead of a block colour. This meant that my outcome for Jamie Reid feels over crowded. 

I chose to print on-top of the Kings face as while Vivienne Westwood is fond of him I believe that Vivienne hold rightful air to the crown which is what I’m trying to convey in my piece. 

I printed blue, red and yellow into his head as I wanted to represent the crown glitching and the system knows it dose not belong to him. This is also why I lined his face with green. 

Lining his face with green is my subtle link to the lizard conspiracy where people with strong influence and powerful aren’t actually humans. Instead they are lizard people here to control our planet.

I missed out a rich tea and a fish and chips but sadly by that point I felt as though adding any more would have been far too much. I wanted to try and include all of Britain’s iconic traits. Looking back I also missed out the country side and a classic pub. However, every Brit will notice that the breakfast is made by none other than Wetherspoons, a sticky carpet and tables classic of a pub. 

Adding the Fosters was a slight question as it is in fact an Australian brand. However, its brewed and packaged in the UK so I thought it would be okay.

Making this piece was financially positive as it spared me no expense. I chose to do a very brief mention of 10 Foot at the end as he now has involvement with the fashion industry which again links back to my work. Im also inspired by his consistent work ethic, despite being jailed for four years he continued to vandalise difficult to reach areas. When doing Ual: Insights during our lunch break I headed off to the graphics department where some of the students were pressing badges. I had cut out photos from a Vogue magazine and given them to the students. I had cut out a photo of Vivienne Westwood and Prada label along with other fashion based prints. These badges ended up being perfect for this photo shoot, I pinned them across my belt loop from my leather jacket and wore it as an accessory. This links back to being a punk as D.I.Y is a big part of their culture and making those badges fits. This was also financially positive as the badge making was completely free. 

Following with the badge making I decided to paint and old body suit of mine from last Halloween. I used black acrylic paint that I had received from my college pack and a square end paint brush. I chose a square end paint brush as I felt that it best painted the x’s drawn all over it. This again links back to punk as it demonstrates the D.I.Y culture.

When it came to the photography I decided to get quite a few shots of me throwing objects around. I did this because after researching punk culture and Vivienne Westwood I realised that punks themselves aren’t necessarily angry but they are angry at society and the governments system. While at home I used my left over bag material to practice my line work and finishing skills. I had to make sure to back stitch when finishing to ensure that the thread wouldn’t come apart. Doing this strengthens the joined fabric. 

I also had to practice using the school machine, this was a whole different ball game to my one at home. The industrial machines start off with a back stitch and when you want to end you have to release some pressure on the pedal and it will do the final back stitch for you. 

This was definitely a learning curve for me and I definitely gained some skill using both types of machines. During this trip I spoke to one woman from Newcastle University and she threw loads of questions at me. I told her that I love drawing and designing. She then told me that she thinks I would be perfect on a pattern making course at her University. However, after viewing some universities I realised that this course wasn’t for me.

This trip was extremely helpful as it helped me discover what type of courses would suit me, my work ethic and style. The cost of this trip was included in my initial pay to do the second year so while it felt free at the time it still came out I of my own pocket but I assume that this trip was financially positive.

With my collage outcome portion I tried to pick out certain colours and shades that would flow with the rest of the piece. I used alcohol markers because they aren’t completely opaque meaning you can still see the original print underneath.
I used very rough and scruffy lines to give off that hot mess look that a lot of female punks have. I also felt that these rough lines well presented Tank Girl as a whole. One thing I gained from this design was definitely the lettering, I hadn’t ever thought of drawing letters in such a ragged way I'm so used to straight or curvy lines. I will definitely be using this font in my future designs. 
The pens I used came from amazon for £20 and I will continue to use them until they die.
