         <description><![CDATA[<div>The first cases of AIDS developed in the 1980s after a group of 5 heterosexual men died from a rare lung infection. At the end of the 1980s the term GRID or Gay-Related Immune Deficiency was being used by both the media and medical personnel thus leading the public to believe the disease is limited only to homosexual men.  After those cases the number of individuals who have been affected by AIDS/HIV has increased.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>ABC of Prevention:&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;Abstinence,&nbsp; behavioral changes, and condom usage&nbsp;<br>Antiretroviral drugs have increased longevity in patients because the new additions are targeting the different phases of the HIV life cycle in terms of managing the drug resistant mutations.&nbsp; The World Health Organization recommends the drug cocktail of TDF and 3TC and EFV as the first-line regimen.  &nbsp;</div>]]></description>
