Homer Barron - a strong man with a demanding attitude. Barron has a good sense of humor and that is one of the very reasons why he became popular in Jefferson. He is considered to be static since he doesn't go under any drastic changes.

Judge Stevens - kind and charismatic, Steven refuses to be bothersome towards Miss Emily and doesn't want to draw the public's attention to her. Overall is seen as a static character due to his simple actions.

Tobe - the main servant in the Grierson household. He is the closest person who knows the truth about Emily. Tobe served to protect Emily from the public and was dedicated to keeping secrets. Tobe would be a static character since he is a general still character but has some depth within his loyalty.

Mr. Gierson - Miss Emily's father. He was seen as quite controlling and strict. Alive, Gierson constantly controlled Emily with rules and demands. He never believed there was anyone good enough to marry his daughter. His selfish and proud personality makes him a static character since he never believed in changing.
