Incident: 5 friends in the woods at riverpoint hunting and one male was found shot and killed.

Detail of event: Grant Perkins, John Michael Forres, Shep Moore, Henry Carlisle, Logan Mccullar were all hunting at riverpoint on October 5th they were all under the influence from the night before and still not in their right mind. They all had different kinds of guns and Grant was shot by a Remington Rifle.

Actions Taken: Later to find out they would be charged with negligent homicide.

What was the weather like outside? Hot

Louisiana was the last state in the U.S. to have a legal drinking age of 18. Up until 1987, state law allowed 18-year-old to buy and consume alcohol, and a state sales loophole allowed them to consume alcohol until 1995.

marijuana remains largely banned in Louisiana. Though the Legislature legalized marijuana for medical purposes in 1991, the law wasn't workable due to the lack of a legal framework.
