I. Age.
      Age increases a person's likelihood to develop breast cancer. At twenty years old, the chance of developing this cancer is 0.6%. It goes up to 3.84% by the age of 70.
II. Genetics
      When someone in your heritage has had breast cancer, or any cancer, it increases your chances of developing that type of cancer. People with a certain type of gene, BRCA1, BRCA2, or TP53, are more likely to develop breast cancer than those without.
III. Dense breast tissue.
 Breast cancer is more likely to develop among those with denser breast tissues.
IV. Estrogen Exposure
       Longer periods of exposure to estrogen can lead to an increased chance of developing breast cancer. This could be from taking birth control (which increases estrogen levels), or menstruating.
V. Alcohol consumption

      By staying active and eating healthy, you can keep your weight in control and aid yourself in staying healthy. 
II. Limit exposure to radiation, environmental pollution, or hormones (if possible).
