Melee was the second installment and has a community that still thrives today. Tournaments are still being hosted for Melee in a much larger fashion than Smash 64.

Brawl is just a garbage game.

Smash 4 was much more defensive than the other games. Since Smash Ultimate has come out the total people playing Smash 4 has decreased by a massive margin.

Sometimes if the match was really exciting people will end up hugging each other after the game.

Mores: When playing a match with another player in tournament you are expected to be a respectful person even if you do lose.

Symbols: In games there are moves that take a lot longer to do than others like Falcon Punch.
